Is it Walgreen or Walmart? The $5 coupon has Walmart logo…

    • Kristen

The logo is an advertisement/suggestion only. It’s Walgreens (they have the monthly coupon booklet).

    • mel

Does it print with the WM logo? My Wags won’t take any mfr q’s with other store logos now (even if it says “available at”!!) So annoying, esp when it says MFR across the top of the coupon.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Mel! It does not print with the Walmart Logo, just the words “available at Walmart”. Hope that helps!

  2. Kristen

I don’t know if it’s still available, but there was a Target coupon for $2 as well.

I need some help. I went to walgreens and tried to get the Zantac and could not. I had 3 coupons so first I gave the cashier all 3 $5 coupons and then the $4 store coupon. She scanned the $5 coupons and all was well until the $4 store coupon which bumped one $5 coupon out. She said that the new system doesn’t lessen the $4 store coupon. Anybody have luck going to Walgreens?

    • Ben

On a side note, I used the $5 coupons I printed last time and it did NOT print with any logo. I did NOT print any new $5 coupons.

    • Niki

I tried Sunday at Walgreens with the $4 coupon and the one out of their monthly savings book and they told me I could not use both. I also tried to use 2 $4 off coupons on vitamints which were b1g1 50% off and they told me I could only use 1 coupon. Needless to say I walked out with nothing. This is why I don’t do Walgreens…it just to difficult/frustrating.

my walgreens won’t let me they say its 9.00 off and it’s only 8.99

        • Deanna

Same here. It was $9 off and cost was 8.99 so would not take my coupon

          • kayla

just wanted to let you know i had no problem today using 4.00 off with 4.00 off coupon

Walgreens doesn’t allow the value of the coupons to exceed the value of the product. In this case the product is 8.99 but the coupons are 9 dollars. I have asked them to adjust the 5 dollar coupon to 4.99 so it equals the value of the product. It might depend on your Walgreens if they adjust to 4.99. But you can use a store coupon combined with a manufacturer coupon.

        • kayla

my store won’t adjust but there is a 4.00 off coupon out

          • Ben

Used the $4 manufacturer coupons already.

Another question. Didn’t the register at Walgreens automatically lower the store coupon along time ago? I could have sworn the register used to do this.

            • Simona

The register beeped and gave them the message that the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the product.

        • kayla

just wanted to let you know they will let you use the 4.00 off with the book coupon

    • Hails

I did this deal last night. I bought two bottles. She scanned the store coupon first, then scanned my $5 coupons. Worked just fine.

To not have to deal with walgreens drama I will be paying the 90 cents at Target. So preferable…

    • Denise G.

Yep! I walked right out of Walgreens without making a purchase when it didn’t work with my $5 coupon. I got my .50 cent MM Zantac yesterday at Target thanks to having the $2 Target Q too.
At 40 weeks pregnant I neeeeeded that heartburn med. thanks for nothing Walgreens.

  6. Cheyenne

    Got mine today- thanks 🙂

  7. Dianne

So for those that this did work in your transaction, what is the order that you gave the coupon (s), did you buy multiples (more than 1, how many), did you have anything else in your transaction, and did the cashier have to do anything to “make” it work? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thank you!!!

  8. ROBIN FREEMAN

I too try to use the Manufacture $5.00 coupon and the $4.00 in store coupon book coupon on the Zantac after one of the freebie sites said they could adjust it to $4.99 so it didn’t exceed the price. I told her that and she said they couldn’t do that because that would be fraud. I live in Overland Park, KS
