I got my membership little while back and didn’t get my food items. The people at sams just said i should be getting an e-mail and then i could have my food items. I don’t think that is how it works and was disappointed with this deal

Ours didn’t show online on our account, I had to call customer service and she said she could see it in her end. I went in tonight and I worked without a problem. The customer service rep did say that they are having problems loading the free items on to accounts but if you go to member services they are told to honor it for you if you get a manager. Hopefully you can get your free items soon.
In order to get all the stuff you have to do join now online. I read the small print and I did join now and went into today. I got my card and my free stuff and received my email w my e gift card 2 hours later. Very happy w the plus- 5 free prescriptions off of the value list 🙂 a month
This is an awesome deal. Especially for an older couple with no kids at home or reasons to buy in bulk like 1-2 times a year but don’t want to pay full membership fee, and you get the upgrade to “Plus” for free ($55 value). You have 30 days to redeem the free chicken/potatoes/pie. With the $25 gift card and the free food, you are only paying ~$5 for the Plus membership.
Do they have organic foods too?
SAMs has some organic food but not nearly as much of a selection as Costco IMO. I still prefer Costco over SAMs for organic/healthier food items.
I finally went in and was able to get my plus card and gift card at the CS desk, but I still don’t understand about the free food items. When I look at my acct online and scroll thru all the current instant savings, I see no free chicken, pie, or anything else. Is there a way to tell if the freebies are on your account?
When I got my store ID card I was given a printed piece of paper that said these would be on my card in about 24 hours. I haven’t checked yet. I was told I had 30 days to redeem these deals. I’m sure they are inundated with new members and it’s going to take time to get everyone’s card updated. If you have a problem, check with CS/Supervisor and they should be able to tell by your membership date/number that you’re entitled to those items.
I just joined and it’s only showing me as a Sams Savings member not Sams PLUS member. What should I do for the free upgrade?
