These balance bikes are the way to go! We’ve never used any training wheels and our 7,5, and 4 year old learned to ride on these and they are great! We bought ours used on Craigslist for $50 so this is a great deal!!!

You don’t really even need a balance bike–just take the pedals off a regular bicycle. My son learned in less than a weekend.
