Dear Wendy’s…c’mon REALLY? Aren’t Excluded states “loyal” too??…Yep now we definitely won’t be going there again. When national chains send offers just to “preferred customers” we will never be a customer again. Even when we purchased products there very often. We change our buying practices to “preferred companies” that reward loyalty to customers in all states.

…What are you even talking about?

      • M

I don’t even know what that person meant.
We will be going though. Cleanest updated fast food near us. It’s like starbucks, closer and cheaper. We live in a poor area and his restaurant is beautiful, and clean. It is refreshing to us, and on our budget it is nice when they offer deals like this. We only get to eat out a few times a year even fast food. I feel so blessed for this offer

Hopefully someday with hard work, and hip2save this wont be a blessing and just something else.

        • M

*this sorry for the typo. I just feel so blessed for something like this here.

        • Jessica

Bless you M! I hope you enjoy! ☺️

      Over reaction.

Only these 8 states have loyal Wendy’s customers? This is a slap in the face for a loyal Wendy’s patron in PA like me whose state is one of the 42 states not considered “loyal” enough to Wendy’s.

I also noticed that all 8 states that are considered “loyal” to Wendy’s are all from the old Confederacy. Something really reeks about this promo.

    • jessie

As much as I don’t like to stir anything up, if you want to compare this promo to the old confederacy, why arent either of the carolinas included?

      • aprilpa

Also, neither is Kentucky or Maryland. But it’s ridiculous to limit a promo to 8 states. I’m curious as to why these 8 states are considered to be more “loyal” customers than the other 42.

  3. faith

Really people? …they are giving away something free! They have the right to limit it to whoever they want!

  4. Jill Jones

Why won’t you do the promotion everywhere? As others have stated, we all come to your restaurant, why can’t we all get the frosty?

  5. RfromLTown

Great, stir the pot some more and Wendy’s national will say it can’t be done in these 8 states. That way it won’t cause any hurt feelings and this sort of controversy. I’m not in one of these states either, but, sheesh, give ’em a break. It may be something as simple as the franchise owners in these states are doing it and the franchise owners in other states are not. Getting something for “free” by a business sometimes borders on people having an entitlement mentality and that’s not right.

    • kema

Exactly, I hope they teach their kids how to be grateful. It’s free. Nobody has to give you anything.

I think it probably have to do with franchise owners. They are acting like Wendys own these restaurants when it’s people that are paying Wendys to own a restaurant that happens to be named Wendys. Giving you something free doesn’t mean you are going to come back to that specific Wendys. They may only have that one and you may decide to go to a different one.

    Y’all cry a lot.

It could be that maybe a lot of veterans are in those states. Texas does have like 10 bases.

Could be number of restaurants … I think NYC may have 2 Wendys now.

Plus, you don’t know how many restaurants are going to actually do it. Could be 1-2 per city.

Maybe they asked the states who would be willing to do it and your state was like nope.
