I really want one but bags are so expensive, is it really worth using it. I use regular grocery bags for freezing stuff and never had freezer burn.

I purchase commercial grade bags & rolls off amazon/EBay for 1/3 price of the Brand and I have never had a problem with freezer burn nor lack of sealing. They are a thicker mil than standards bags and rolls and work fantastic. I buy meat & veggies in bulk and it’s a life saver!!

My son has one and he says to get the cheapest bags you can find as they all work the same. Not necessary I but their brand. Hope this helps.
I have a foodsaver and even though the bags cost a little pricey, it is well worth it because you never have to worry about throwing food away. I love mine!
