Is this same company as other wine deal? And how come I don’t see where voucher can be used?

    • Kelsey

This is a scam. The “dining dollars” are useless and you still have to pay extra to get a $100 gift card since that’s the lowest value gift card you can buy. False advertising.

      • Steph

“*The referenced bonus reward is a free gift to you with your purchase. It is not a gift certificate, has no cash value,”

The post very clearly tells you it’s not a gift card – How’s that a scam?

        • Kelsey

Maybe “scam” was too harsh of a word, but it is definitely false advertising on the part of the company (not Collin).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Mia!
Heartwood & Oak and Barclay’s are both owned by the same company (including others too). You can see details on this company here —-> https://drinks.com/. For more details on how Dining Dollars works, go here and click on the View Tutorial link at the bottom of the page. https://www.discountdiningdollars.com/gateway.

      Hope that helps! 😀

  2. Ana

What? Why does it say Barclays when it’s a heartwood and oak deal?
We ordered the heartwood and oak Memorial Day deal and were really, really disappointed. The “$50 in dining dollars” isnt a $50 gift card. You basically are forced to buy a $100 gift card from a site, with the credit they give you with this wine purchase. So you still have to pay out of pocket. Really irritating. Won’t be purchasing from here again (we have purchased their wine in the past-it is good, but feeling deceived with this “dining dollars” offer.

    • Sami

Hi Ana or anyone else that can answer, is it $50 off a $100 gift card? If so, what gift cards are available? Are you paying for the $50 “credit” in the $89.99 price? So it seems you end up buying a whole gift card? Please explain. Thank you.

      • Kelsey

They give you a $50 dining credit to the dining dollars website, but the minimum gift card you are able to buy is $100. So it still requires a $50 purchase if you want to make use of the gift card offer.

        • Gail

          What gift cards are available?

  3. Beth

    Got mine today. Happy camper

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WooHoo! So glad you got yours Beth! 😀

  4. Rhonda

Agreed. This is very shady. Identical to the heartwood and oak deal, but under the name Barclays? You can’t even use the dining dollars unless you wanna buy a $100 gift card through them 🙄

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Rhonda!
This deal is very legit! 🙂 Heartwood & Oak and Barclay’s are both owned by the same company (including others too). You can see details on this company here —-> https://drinks.com/. Hope that helps!

  5. Brandon

Sounds like people aren’t impressed with the dining dollars – if anyone has a voucher they won’t use please send it my way! Money is tight in college but still try to treat my girlfriend to dinner every once in awhile and we frequent the same few places so a large giftcard to one place doesn’t hurt us

  6. Member

Heartwood and oak deal seemed good. Is this a different company, Collin? Confused.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi All! Heartwood & Oak and Barclay’s are both managed by the same company (including others too). You can see details on this company here —-> https://drinks.com/.

I got this deal before and loved the wines. I think it’s a great deal. The dining credit is just a bonus, you can use it or you don’t have to, the wines are still $6 each which is awesome price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear that! 🙂 Thanks so much for the feedback!

  9. Rita Marie

So there’s no way to know what dining dollars offers, unless you buy the wine first? I’d like to know what is offered with dining dollars, then I will decide if I want the whole wine deal. Any way to check?

    • Kelsey

      Nope. It’s really weird

  10. Sharples

Okay guys I’m reading all your comments and the deal is for the wine the bonus plus is the dining dollars. If you don’t want them trade them or give it to the college student or drop off to donate somewhere. Nowhere are you going to find 15 wines for $90 delivered. Stop complaint and thank you Colin for posting the deal!
