Has anyone used this before? Wondering if it works well or not…

  2. Heather

I’ve used this before and had no problems getting it to grow.

I was at Lowe’s yesterday and the bags are 50% off in stores as well.

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Heather! Good to know!

I have used it on 4 different areas of our lawn this spring and I think it works great. We have had great results in the shady areas under/around the trees in our yard.

Happy to hear how well it has worked for your yard! Thanks for the feedback!

We’ve had great success with it! Shake it on and water twice a day – it grows! It’s a bit pricey normally so this is a great deal. I’ll be grabbing a few bags for future use.

So you don’t need to cover it w/soil? Or loosen the soil? Just sprinkle in patchy areas?

I hate gardening and my lawn is a mess…and I’m too cheap to do anything w/it:(

Love this seed. I have tried many others and this always does great. It’s worth the extra money I spend on it! Grabbed two 20 lb bags!

I work for a landscaping company and we don’t recommend seeding for fescue (in Georgia anyway) this time of year. The heat from the summer is what kills fescue lawns, so we advise our customers to keep it watered and a little longer through the summer to help reduce the amount of loss. Also be aware that weed control will prohibit the seed from germinating. We don’t start our overseeding services until the last week of August/first week of September.
