This may be a really stupid question. But when you order, do you say, “I want a medium fry and have a free coupon.” Or do you just order and then give them your phone at the pay window?
At the order window I say I have an “app QR code coupon” and the cashier scans the QR code on my iPhone when I pay.
I’ve used this coupon so many times. I mention nothing. I order my two items (medium fry and burger) and when I am at payment window, hold up my phone and the they scan and give me new total. Super easy and never had issue.
I mention discounts and coupons up front. I also hand coupons to cashiers at the beginning. I think it’s s courtesy and helps transactions go more smoothly. 😉
Is it one time use?
You can only use the code once, but they’ve been popping up in the app every friday for many weeks in a row now.

What would be the cheapest item you could buy? I wonder if you can order a cutie orange or apple slices and then get the fries…the reason I’m asking is because it’s raining here and I need to get these kiddos some play time and our local indoor play place is great. I could eat free fries and let them get their energy out and possibly have a cheap snack.
How many kids do you have? 3 cookies are $1 and all cookie proceeds are donated.
I usually get a $1 drink and enjoy both before going home to the kids after work.
you can buy anything and get the free fries. i always order a large drink bc its on special for .89 cents so i get both for under a dollar!

Just got mine. I normally order an 89¢ soda with it. My daughter and I split it. So yummy. 🙂
Most if McDonalds food is disgusting but i do love their fries. I always get a chicken sandwich for $1.39 and get my free medium fries.
Never any deals on this app in Utah. Strangely it works whenever I travel to another state.
