Not sure if it was mentioned but it is double point week
I tried this. Followed all the steps. But the bonus egift card I received didn’t have a pin with it so I can’t load it to my card. I’ll try it at a starbucks store tomorrow to see if it’ll work that way.
it should give you a card # and code not a pin. maybe try contacting them by email?

Cool. That worked pretty nicely. I sent the email with the E-card in the body of the email. And within a minute or two, got an email back from Microsoft with my Bonus $5. Thanks! (I do not use Outlook, but when I typed in my regular Yahoo email address and followed your steps, it worked).

If you’re a Mac user, it says to use Outlook web mail interface. Outlook has always been buggy on a Mac. I also had the same issue as Sharon, where it won’t let you redeem your Microsoft $5 card (the bonus) and transfer it to your Gold Card. I can’t see a way around the issue, so it looks like you’ll have to print it and have an employee transfer it to your Gold Card in-store. Probably a glitch.
I followed the instructions & didn’t get a second email. After reading the terms & conditions, it says you have to be one of the first 50k people and there’s no guarantee you’ll get the promotional card.
FYI. I got the $5 bonus eGift w/o 8-digit code 2 hours ago. it was delivered to my Starbucks account email.
