Clothes for Family Kmart

Kmart shoppers! It appears that many Kmart stores are closing and as a result, they are offering up deep discounts on clothing, shoes, toys and lots of other items storewide. Also, my store allowed Shop Your Way points to be used at checkout!

Toys Kmart

I spotted 50% off clothes and shoes for the family, 60% off winter shoes, 50% off patio furniture, 60% off Garden Center plants, and 40% off toys. I also spotted 80% off all Fine Jewelry plus 40% off Party Supplies & Stationary!

Kmart Party and Jewelry

And MUCH more!

(Thanks, Mere!)

😀 You are welcome, none in my area. I guess the gross one in my shopping plaza is doing OK after all, lol

    • 🐾Pammie🐾

Thank you none are closing in Virginia.

Anyone have the McDonald’s app? Today I found a FREE small hot or iced coffee on it, good only for today. Hope this helps someone…

    • Dealzgurl

Thanks for sharing. I don’t have that offer but I will have to remember to keep checking the app for sweet deals like that one.

      • Lynn

Yes agreed on the checking often. They’ve been pretty frequent with deals lately.

Ours closed last month. They ripped off all prices, raised them but 20% -50% and then marked them down. I was in the store on my phone, looking at Kmart.com comparing pricing and on some things, it actually cost more on “close out clearance”. no thanks.

The sports authority in my town is doing the same thing. 50% off treadmills so I looked them up online and they are charging regular retail!

  6. Mollie Bair

I had a friend that worked at the Kmart where I lived and she told me they were going to raise prices by 20%.

The only thing I suggest purchasing is clothing. All other items at my local Sears and Kmart (both are closing) are way overpriced even with the percentage off, and both stores have a NO RETURN for ANY reason policy. So of something doesn’t work you can’t exchange or get a refund.

    • SmartShopper

So they’re dumping the inventory at a profit without any chance of returns. Pretty Clever. #KnowYourPrices

I got 10 heavy winter jackets for 90. However they added $74 in points to my acct. 7 jackets will be donated to our church outreach. No complaints from me

    • Lisa

Way to go! Love seeing people donate stuff! I got lots of underwear for our adopt-a-families when a local Kmart closed near Christmas.

  9. spi_cy13

I’m surprised that the ones near me are still open!

  10. Judy

our store is NOT closing, but they did have additional 50% off clearance toys when I was there on Tuesday

All sears and kmart will be going out of business. They are in liquidation state. They unload a few stores at a time until they are all gone. The process will take about 5 years . I hate that they leave. they leave junky empty buildings behind that no one wants. its terrible. if they would have reinvested in their stores they could have made it. I loved shopping there. it was quick and easy. so sad.

  12. Sherry

Lina you said it all! Thank u and great job

I have went several times to the Kmart closing in my area. I only bought things that had their original price tag on them (no stickers) such as bras. I got several good quality ones for under $4. Or I bought items that I knew how much I usually pay for them at other stores so I could gauge how much of a “deal” I was getting.

  14. Queenjen87

Ours is closing. I’m watching a few big ticket items, but until general merchandise is 70% off or more, I don’t even really sniff at it lol. I’m waiting for the trampolines to go under regular sale price (199 on a good sale, 219 right now, so getting close and we still have 10+)

  15. Amy

Ours is closing. Please know your prices before going! Most items that had been marked up dramatically and could be found at other stores cheaper even with the closing discount. An example is a Barbie that was $4.44 at Walmart but was marked $9.99 at Kmart with 20% off that price. A freezer had it’s original price on it and a clearance price. The clearance price was marked up by $100 from the original. We did find a slip-n-slide for $4, so that was a good buy. Just know your prices going in.

  16. jenifer

I was able to get great deals on LEGO sets! Stocking up for Christmas!

  17. Stv

Some of the prices are good but a lot of them even with a 20 to 50% off are still more expensive than Walmart so you really have to look otherwise you end up paying more than you would somewhere else but if you look you can find good deals and they do give you a $5 off coupon when you check out that can help too

  18. SmartShopper

Ours isn’t on the list. But it’s closing.

  19. Jayme

The prices are not marked up. That is why kmart is closing, the prices where 20 percent more than any other place. They mark the stuff with price tags when a store closes because the store becomes a mess.

  20. Darlene James

The store in Shelby, N. C. Is going out of business and I was wondering if you would let me know when the markdowns continue to get lower most items were 10% off today! Thank you!!!!!
