Anyone have this? How does it compare to a fit bit?
Everything Wendi said. I got them when they were $48 for both my daughters a couple of weeks ago and they love them. They compete against each other and their Aunt to see who has the most steps each day. The heart rate and pulse are not built into this. Instead, that monitor is a strap you have to put around your chest so we haven’t used that. They don’t wear them in the tub or pool, just to be safe. Seeing their sleep patterns has been fascinating. Now my husband wants one, so I’m very glad to see this deal. Thanks!
I have had mine for over two years now…I love it. I have never had a fit bit but the Vivofit provides access to your number of steps, daily step goal, progress towards your story goal, calories burned, and displays the current time. There is an app that you can download your data to and it provides all kinds of way to view your progress. You can also connect with other users and join step challenges. I originally paid $80 so this is only half the price. It is also water resistant…I even wear mine in the pool. I Think I will get one for my hubby 😊…hope this helps!
Thanks for such awesome feedback Wendi! Glad to hear how many great things it can do!
I have this and it is good for keeping up with steps, miles walked. It adjusts your goals as to how many steps you take in a day. It is not back-lit though. Best thing about it is you don’t have to charge it (like the Fitbit). It has a battery. I’ve had mine for about 6 months and have not had to change the battery. You can download their app to keep up with your sleep, etc. For the price, you can’t beat it.
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing Tammy!
Have had mine since Christmas and love it. It’s my watch and keeps my steps and sleep pattern. My husband and I both had fitbits and hated charging them. This has a watch battery and I never have to take it off.
Thanks for the review Katie! Good to know!
Bought 2 thanks to the great reviews. Can’t wait to try it!
I have had one for 11 months and love it. Why? You don’t have to charge it as it runs on watch batteries (haven’t had to change it yet). I keep it on all the time, so I shower and swim in it! It’s simple to sync with the app and works great to keep me motivated to work out. Highly recommend!!
Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your experience Suzanne!
Possible stupid question alert…. is this compatible with an Android device? Or does it even have to be? I’ve wanted something to monitor steps and heartbeat etc but haven’t bought one yet because I’m really inexperienced with this technology.
It is an app that can be downloaded on android devices as well as Apple devices. I’m sure tempted to get these for my kids. I currently have the vivosmart with heart rate monitor and I like that feature solely for workouts, but I don’t feel my teens need that feature. And this is less than 1/3 the price that mine was. It’ll also be nice for us to all have the same brand. Tempted!!
Thanks for your response Chrystal!
This one won’t track your heart rate.
Hi Collin
Thanks for this great deal. Doctors want me to keep moving all day so this comes in very handy. Just an FYI, I dont know if this applies for everyone but at checkout it gave me the option for free same day delivery at the same deal price with my prime membership. So i will have it today by 9pm.
Yay……Thanks for all the reviews ladies.
Oh perfect! Happy you will have it today! You’re most welcome!
Is the app for this called Garmin Connect Mobile?
Yes!
I have had one of these since Christmas 2014, and love it. Been running on the same battery that came in it since then too. I know it says the expected battery life is about 1 year but mine has been going for about 1 1/2 years now!!!
Sweet! So glad to hear how long the battery has lasted! Thanks for sharing!
Chiming in here- I’ve had mine since January, love it, never take it off! Its got this 53 year old over 12000 steps a day from about 7000! Highly recommend!!!
Super awesome to hear Meg! Thanks for the great feedback! 🙂
I have owned mine since March 2014 and haven’t had to change the battery.
Thanks everyone for the feed back!
Ditto to everyone else. I’ve had mine over 18 months and still on the same battery. I love that it tracks my sleep quality as well.
Does anyone have this and an iPhone? Will the data sync to the iPhone’s Health app as well as the Garmin app? Thanks.
Does anyone use theirs for running? Like if I run three miles, can I use it to track my miles or is it just for counting steps?
Thanks so much. I used the Audible credit to buy this and saved 10.00.
Sweet deal Stella! You’re very welcome!
