my deliveries are always so hot from the back of the ups truck not sure if it’s safe for formula to get that hot. Otherwise I’d stock up.

Formula is transported and delivered to the store on the same type of hot truck.

I also wonder about the safety of this. I’m sure it would be technically safe to eat but isn’t it bad to heat plastics because of leaching of chemicals (like how you’re never supposed to drink out of a water bottle that’s been sitting in a hot car)?

I also never found these large instant bottles to be a good deal. Do powder and/or some instant 8 oz bottles when you’re in a pinch (depending on age thats a meal or if fridged then 2). Once opened it has to be refridgerated and used in 24 hours then tossed.

Thanks so much for the honest feedback Candace!

Some babies tolerate ready to feed much better than powdered. Mine was a completely different baby and the money I spent was well worth it

As a post partum nurse and lactation specialist, ready to feed formula is the only kind we use in the hospital because it is the only kind that is sterile. You don’t need to boil your water (this is how you are supposed to prepare powdered formula) and there is no second guessing when measuring.

If you ever get the $5 check rebates that they send out, these ready made formulas qualify. Most stores sell them for 6.99, so I have gotten several for 1.99 a piece! They are great to have on hand for when you travel!
