I ordered two sets online and it didn’t give me the option to pick a free gift. Emailed customer service and was basically told “nothing we can do about it”. Not happy

That is an unfortunate response from Customer Service. If it was me, I’d cancel or return the entire order and in the meantime, try again online. It does appears that the free gift option is still there, on the place setting page. You have to add the free gift to your cart separately, but once you do, it does seem to appear in your cart as a free item–

It worked! As a Kohls credit card holder, I was able to buy 4 place settings and received 4 free gifts (chose two Java mugs and two ramekins). I ordered 2 sets. Went through Ebates and got a little over $1 back, plus I had $17 credit on my Kohl’s account. $18 ish for 2 sets! I got a $20 Kohl’s cash today that starts tomorrow so going to order 2 more sets for around $12 tomorrow!
