When you say limit 3 per household, is that 3 per 1¢ item? Or 3 mixed or matched?

    • Anita

Teresa it’s 3 per item, so you can buy 3 of each 1 cent items

    • Bethany

At my store, it is 3 per item 🙂

    • Kelly

      It’s 3 per item.

  2. Marie

    It’s 3 of each item.

  3. Stephanie

    It’s per item.

So in years past our store has allowed teachers to get at least double the limit (so 6 each) now supposedly the system won’t allow the override?? They did allow separate purchases but….I would have to spend an additional $5. Last week it worked out bc I was purchasing that much. Still a good deal…

    • Sarah C

I’m thinking of purchasing $5 gift cards to get to the limit….could use them in upcoming weeks 0.01 sales…

      • marie

        omg great idea

      • Angela

Check with store about gift cards, mine said no to them… 🙁

    • Lois

The system didn’t allow it before, the stores just did an override to accommodate teachers. The stores are being closely watched by corporate headquarters and have been told to be very strict on limits. You’re lucky that your store allowed you to do multiple transactions in the same day. Some stores are being quite strict with limits. The limits are set to be per household or business. So, not all stores will allow multiple transactions. Limits are set for a reason. If everyone were allowed multiple transactions, stuff would sell out the first day of the sale and that’s not fair to other people that shop later.

Be on the look out for special teacher events. They have done special things in the past for teachers (freebies, discounts, etc).

What grade are spiral notebooks on the supply list?

    • Rose

my Daughter has it on hers she is in 4th

    • MyOpinion

We need spiral note books starting in 3rd grade

    • Sara

My sons going into 1st and has 5 on his list.

  6. Lauren

For this week’s 1 cent printing paper deal, do I need to fill out anything to get the reward back?

    • Kim

It should automatically load to your card within 5 weeks.

      • Lauren

        Thank you!

      • Laurie

So it loads to your card meaning it is a store credit? Not an actual rebate (cash)?

  7. Baxter

Can I buy a 5.00 Office Depot gift card to get the items for a penny? Thanks!

  8. Pam

@ Office Depot AZ, the deal is 1 cent with minimum $5 purchase.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you must make a $5 purchase in order to take advantage of the 1¢ deals.

  9. Kim

I wonder if you could buy them Saturday and then get a price adjustment Sunday? Sounds silly but it’s one way to make sure you get the $.01 deals.

    • Jenn

I would say no bc what if everyone did that?

    • Lois

They don’t do price matches on BTS items

  10. Momto2

At my store one of the cashiers told me the $5.00 purchase is a pre sale price . For example, this week the scissors are $1.00 but are originally $7.99 so you would only have to buy 1 pair scissors to get the one cent items. She said they just don’t tell the customers that.

    • Kathryn

Oh man! I think that this could be true! I had a problem with my order ringing up correctly. We re-scanned everything 3 times. It ended up being $4.98 for my $5 worth of stuff AND my .01 items. I didn’t understand how it would allow the .01 price if I wasn’t ringing up over $5. (Hence the 3 ring ups).

    • Peever

Thank you for mentioning this! I tried that today and the $5 total is before discounts!

If I did the * $1 Office Depot Brand Multipurpose Ream Paper after Rewards* deal this week can I do it again next week?

  12. karen

yay this is awesome deal…I am so going this sunday and stockin up on school supplies…especially the glue sticks need those

  13. Cam

Are these deals good online for ship to home? No store neat me.

  14. misty

Yes i believe it must be true about only getting the scissors or something else thats even if its on sale for 1.00 if its normal price is 5 or more you must still get the penny items. I went to check out this weekend and i thought i had my 5.00 but i was like 1.00 short and it still gave me everything for .01. My total was 4.38. The cashier didnt understand what happened and i didnt either because i didnt hit the 5 yet but it went through.

  15. Melissa

Is this deal good with online orders?

  16. Jill

Are Office Depot and staples the same store now? Meaning would this be available at staples? I’ve tried finding a Office Depot near me but it keeps saying staples. Any thoughts?

    • Kim

Office Max and Office Depot are the same. My town has one of each. Staples is completely its own store.

  17. Lori

Has anyone seen deals on 1′ binders? 😬

    • Kim

Costco has a good deal but I can’t remember what it was. I know that’s not much help but if you’re going to Costco check the office section.

  18. Tami

Remember in years past when Office Depot was teacher friendly and there was not a $5 purchase and you were allowed to get a class set of 30? Especially in my district as some schools have teachers a $350 budget and mine gave $0…smh

  19. Lore

Check your supply list as some want composition notebooks, not spiral. I found glue stick 3 packs on clearance $0.25 in June. Now to get the rest of my 2 sons lists.

  20. Angie

Do they have any specials just for teachers?

    • Lois

Keep an eye out…they should be doing a special teacher event. They have in years past

  21. Diane

Anyone know walmarts ad match policy regarding the $5 minimum for getting the 1 cent items?

  22. Kctwin

Love these deals!! I got $65 dollars worth of stuff for less than $10 to donate to a local school. 🙂

  23. Carmen

Costco has the 4-pack of 1/5″ binders on sale for $7.99 (that’s after instant rebate) pretty good deal; they are the d-ring binders, too – which I love even more!

  24. Taryn

So my question is……if you get all the items for .01cents and you Have to buy an item that was $5 before discount, wouldn’t you only have to buy the .01 cent items seeing how the pre discount price on all of them adds up to more then $5?

  25. LC

I’m confused…I purchased twelve items which were on sale for a penny and paid only $0.13. This happened twice on two different days at two different stores. This morning I got back to the same store I went to yesterday and they are requiring me to purchase a $5 item (or $5 worth of stuff that does not include the penny items). Is the $5 minimum based upon the pre-sale total of the items purchased (including the penny items) or is the $5 minimum a separate item not included on the penny sale.

  26. censability

Can you buy $5 worth of Dollar Deals to get the $5 minimum?

  27. Iris

    When does this end ??

  28. Patty

    When does this end?

  29. Kate

    When is the sale over?
