I bought this backpack for my child last summer with this deal. It is very durable backpack and still in a good condition after one whole school year!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear how well it hold up! Thanks for the great feedback!

    • Shelby

Picked one up in the store today. Glad to hear that it’s durable. The ones I bought the kids last year both fell apart before the end of the year. They were inexpensive AND cheap. 🙂

    • Suz

Appreciate the info as I am looking to buy 2 backpacks for a drive at my church for elementary student and want good quality but not huge size.

  3. sarah

thanks got two one pink and one black/blue for my kids

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

Bought this backpack last year for my 4th grade son. Lasted all year, very happy with quality.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear that! Thanks for sharing!

I work at a high school & bought 2 of these to fill with supplies for kids who are in need. Thanks for the heads up on this deal!!

    • Jill P.

Since others say they’re smaller, I will donate then to my daughters 5th grade class instead.

      • Jenn

My friend bought these for her kids last year with oldest in 8th grade and they worked fine for them. Just depends how large the lunch box is. 😀

        • Jill P.

          Thanks Jenn!

I bought one of these last year for my son. While it lasted well…its not very large. I would say there is probably only room for a folder and on book or a small binder and a lunch bag. It works well for the little ones who are not bringing home any books (K-2) but if your child will be bringing home books, I suggest something a little larger.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the honest review Melissa! Good to know!

  7. Barbara

Has anyone found a deal of rolling backpacks? My daughter has been begging for one but the prices are crazy!

  8. Angie

Awesome deal. Snagged 3 for my kiddos! I’m excited as my kids backpacks normally don’t last a whole school year so hoping these will. Thanks!

    • Melloddie

Try lands end. Got my boys backpacks from there 2yrs ago and is still in pretty good shape. Very durable and good quality.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Angie!

I was also noticing walmart.com has quite a few backpacks discounted. Just search for backpack then sort by price. There are many less than $10.

    • Rose

I useto but Wamart Backpacks but noticed my kids needed a new one by Mid School year because of tearing. Could be just my kiddos but I have friends who also dont like Walmarts because they dont last.

    • karol

I bought Walmart the first year in kindergarten and 6 months later had to buy a new one. I’d rather spend a little more on 1 then to have to buy another one before the year is out.

  10. Jenn

I have purchased these the last couple of years to donate to the school nurse to hand out to students in need. They are great, quality bags! Thanks H2S

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How awesome Jenn! Thanks for sharing! You’re most welcome! 😉

I just looked at these in store. Online, it says it’s for a 15″ laptop. However, in store, they’re very small, and the only tech pocket they have is for a tablet. I didn’t feel comfortable buying one to use myself for my laptop. Definitely didn’t look sturdy enough for a “big kid” or adult.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the honest feedback!

  12. Kim

I bought one of these last year on a deal. While they are too small for school for my son, it is perfect for going to amusement parks, ball games, and other outings like that. Good quality, just small

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Such great ideas Kim! Thanks for sharing!

  13. coby

Bought 3, been looking for a sturdy backpack with bottle holders on the side, my Jansport doesnt have any and i’m excited to try this brand..thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  14. Perlis

Thank u Collin for this awesome deal. I need one for walking around my city.😃😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

  15. Jill

Great backpack. My sons was run over in a parking lot at the beginning of the year and we still used it all year!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

OH wow! Glad to hear it has held up so well!! Thanks for sharing Jill!

  16. Tasha

    Got one…thnx!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW!

  17. Sarah

I just picked one of these up this morning, and the quality seems to have decreased since last year’s model. The fabric is really thin, and I honestly don’t expect it to last the entire year.

  18. Angie

Picked a pink one up this morning. The fabric is really thin. I think my first grader will be fine with it, but my 5th and 8th graders would never make it. I think it would easily tear with the corner of a binder.

  19. Adrianne P

Thanks for posting!! I had a $10 reward certificate that I’ve been holding onto for months, so I was able to get a pink one for only $0.70!!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great score! You are very welcome!

  20. jean

Wow got the pink one for my grandaughter
Is on it’s way to her
Could not pass on this deal

  21. Emily

Thanks! Snagged a pink one for my kindergartener.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! YW!

  22. Kat

I have to disagree with most. Even though the brand is Swiss gear I went to the store today and the backpacks were small and material was very thin and not as durable as they used to be. Office max deals have gone downhill as soon as Office Depot took over. I used to be able to get free backpacks from this store and the quality was great!
