I’ve read some scary things about this app. If creating an account I’d suggest creating a new gmail for it only. By signing about you allow the app a carte blank to your gmail, google account including search history ect…I’ve never been leery of this type of stuff until reading about this. The app looks fun though
You don’t have to use a Google account, you can sign up for a Pokemon trainer account. They have updated what Google info it takes/uses as well.
Kind of stupid in my opinion that you’re flind to five several days to redeem the Pokemon deal but the tmobile accessory discount is today only. Most people won’t be able to make it to a store today so many won’t be redeemed… Why not give an equal amount of time??

Lots of stores (if not every store) does one day only, in store only, deals. They’re counting on the fact that most people won’t actually go into the store. It’s free. You don’t lose anything if you can’t get into the store today.

It is online, but it is not a “deal.” It is a contest and, starting today, they added free Pokémon GO data for a year as one of the potential prizes.
No, it’s already in your “my stuff” section as soon as the app is downloaded. You just have to click the “redeem” button and then it’s activated and lasts until August next year.

The T-Mobile app is quite a bit different from this link, “You can still head here to access this promotion” for me. The link leads to a contest page where I eventually received, “Sorry you didn’t win.”

Unbelievable!! real life, face to face interaction, where has this gone? The world is addicted to Pokemon go. And don’t even say …. Well it’s getting my kid outside…. They should already be doing that through your direction and guidance. Take the devices away. Yes I have 2 kids and their time is limited on devices. Live in the real world people!!
Exactly! Ridiculous, “it gets them outside”!! So these poor kiddos don’t go outside otherwise?!? Technology is crippling our children! Ugh, and most of the adults! I check this site and my email maybe once a day on a slow day lol. No social media or games!!

I think you two are failing to realize that it’s mostly young adults playing this game. So they can go outside whenever they want to. Jeez. Nobody above you has commented about letting their kids loose to go hunt pokemon so they don’t have to be parents. Let people be how they want to be. Jeez. That’s just a small amount of what’s wrong with this country…everybody shoving their own feelings down other people’s throats.
I agree with kabo, just let us have fun lol. Yes we have to be careful with this game since it does distract us from our surroundings, but with a group it’s better. Heck I was with friends at the beach/ pier from 11:30 pm to 2 am hunting for Pokemon and there were like at least 500 people at the pier with us. I’m 20 btw lol. For younger kids, just go hunting with them! If anything, although they might be distracted trying to catch a Pokemon, it might create some bonding time…who knows! This game does drain battery and data so it sucks that I didn’t win haha. Think positive and just be cautious. Happy hunting!
