Love this backpack. Several years ago a close friend, who’s eldest is a year older than my eldest, forewarned me about how hard middle school was on backpacks. Heeding her advice I invested ($34.99) in one of these backpacks (black with orange instead of red details). The back and shoulder straps are padded, the straps are also ergonomically shaped, resulting in evenly distributed weight. My 1st son loved it so much he’s never wanted nor needed a replacement. He’s now going into 10th grade. I was so impressed with the quality, I purchased a second for my middle child (black with yellow details instead of red). My older child has a larger frame that my middle, so I purchased the Tectonic 2 Large for the eldest and the Tectonic 2 Medium for the middle. We’re a happy Tectonic family.

Could someone please explain a prime pantry credit…i have 5.99—-do i have to spend more than that to redeem?

Its been this same price at BB since Wednesday or so…
Word to the wise – check the ratings on amazon.com. it seems this bag has quality issues and many of the reviews of ripped straps and seams are recent. I was going to get one at this price but after reading the reviews I will skip it. Samsonite apparently does not offer any kind of guarantee or help with these issues either.
