Just received one from prevoius deal and had to pay shipping. The chain seems very delicate, but the medallion is sufficiently solid for the price. I got a five letter name and it is about an inch across. Good size for teenagers. Satisfied with purchase.

I’m torn. My Elementary schooler would love this!! However a police officer friend is a community educator and always encourages us not to embroider our kids names on backpacks for safety reasons. I think he might have a coronary if he saw my daughter wearing this.

Is it just for this particular style?
Tarnish is normal with sterling silver. A dab of silver polish will take care of it or a quick rub with a jeweler’s cloth. I keep a cloth with my jewelry and give my silver bracelets, chains and earrings a quick wipe before wearing. Keeps ’em gleaming!
