  4. Jen

How hot is that hot sauce? If not is there anything else you can substitute?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

You can use your favorite brand or may red pepper flakes? Just maybe add a little at a time. It balances out the peanut butter 😀

  5. Kristen

How do you think this would be with cashew butter?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I think you should go for it! Love cashews ❤️

  6. Trish

Love celery seed and diced celery in place of spicy stuff in my peanut sauce… Never tried with ramen noodles though, sounds yummy! Thanks!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

    Sounds good!

  8. Emily

Thanks!! we just started my son on a GFCF diet and we just bought some rice ramen from Costco! This will be an excellent way to cook it (I will just sub in chicken broth to cook the noodles in, in place of the seasoning packet, and use gluten free Tamari soy sauce!) Sounds amazing and I am desperate for more recipes so this is perfect timing!

If you are allergic to peanut butter you can substitute it with sesame paste (from the Asian supermarket) and it taste pretty close.

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Love that idea! Thanks Sandy

    • Lily T.

      Thanks for the tip! 🙂

I’ve been making something very similar to this for a couple years. The biggest difference is I’ve never tried it with the seasoning packet and I also scramble an egg in a bowl. Once the noodles have been drained I save a little water at the bottom, I put it back in the heat and add the egg and mix it well with the noodles. It makes it creamy. I cook it for just a couple mins and add all the other ingredients. You end up with a creamy, spicy peanuty sauce for your ramen. Ive only made this for one package of ramen at a time so for 4 packages you’d definitely need to use at least 2-3 eggs. Love this recipe.

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Oh eggs would be great! Thanks Olivia 😀👍🏻
