Walgreens Under $9 Deal Idea (Gillette Razor, Shave Gels, Nutella & MORE)
Are you enjoying these in-store deal scenarios we’ve been posting? Here at Hip2Save we like to make your life easier when it comes to saving money, so I hope that these deal ideas are helpful. You definitely don’t have to buy the same things, but I think that seeing a breakdown of transactions can make it a bit easier to come up with a scenario for products that you and your family will use.
With that said, here’s a deal scenario we’ve cooked up for Walgreens this week! To get these deals, print a few manufacturer’s coupons and use a couple of the store coupons found in the Walgreens weekly ad. Super easy!
TRANSACTION #1:
Buy 1 Gillette Shave Prep AND 1 Razor or Refill Cartridge = $5 RR
Deal Idea:
Buy 1 Gillette Venus Swirl Razor System on sale for $7.49 (Reg. $11.99)
Buy 2 Gillette Venus Shave Gels 7 oz $3.79 each + on sale buy 1 get 1 50% off = $5.69 for 2
Total for both = $13.18
Use the $3/1 Venus Razor coupon available to digitally clip to your balance rewards card here (Or use the prior coupon from Coupons.com – NO longer available)
And, use two $0.75/1 Gillette Venus Shave Gel 7 oz+ printable coupon
Pay $8.68 + tax
Get back a $5 RR
TRANSACTION #2:
Buy 3 Share Size Snickers Candy 3.14-3.59oz 3/$3.33
Buy 1 Nutella Hazelnut Spread 13 oz $2.99
Buy 1 Nice! Aluminum Foil 25 sq. ft. or Smile & Save Paper Plates 40 or 64 pack 89¢ with in ad coupon
Buy 1 Nice! Fold & Close Sandwich Bags 50 or 150 pack or Freezer or Storage Bags 15 to 25 pack $0.99 with in ad coupon
Total = $8.20
(Make sure to use the coupons found in the weekly ad for the Nice! Bags and Aluminum Foil)
Use three $0.50/1 any Snickers Crisper, Original, Almond or Xtreme Single or Sharing Size Bars (1.41-3.59oz.) printable coupons
Use the $1.50/1 Nutella Hazelnut Spread Jar 13 oz+ or Mini Cups 10 ct. printable coupon GONE or in the 7/31 SS

I for one DO enjoy & appreciate the deal scenarios that you post!! I’m not very good at seeing the “pic picture” and putting things together to get the best deal… But, I do check Hip2Save Many times a day, I collect & cut all the coupons I can & I try my best to stay on top of all other money saving opportunities – So, there’s many times I’ll have everything I need to take advantage of the deal scenarios and I thank you for posting them so my family can save,save,save!!!

I saw the post from yesterday and went to Walgreens today, I spent $22 out of pocket and got back 14,000+ points! Thanks for the heads up about the great deals!
Can i do the p&g deal and use the points on this transaction and still get the rr?
I have the offer for 7,000 pts when I spend $20. I also can earn an extra 7,000 pts if I pay with a Visa card.
Anyone know if I can use my DH’s Visa card arnd still get the 2nd 7,000 pts. I also have the 5,000 pts offer for purchasing 3 Hallmark cards and another offer for 3,000 pts if I spend $15. My other question is do I need to spend $20 or $35 to get both the 7,000 points and the 3.000 points for meeting the threshold offers?
I cannot answer your question, as I would like to know the same. I can say that I placed an online order and my points did not show up as stated. I ordered over $30 of qualifying p&g, over $10 of qualifying Tom’s and another item. My total was over $50 and I used Visa Checkout. I earned the 7,000 for $20 and 7,000 for using visa. However, the $10 off $50 visa checkout offer adjusted the totals for my p&g and toms products. There for I did not receive the 10,000 p&g point nor the 3,000 toms points. I was not expecting that to be the case. I plan on returning my order in store when I receive it. Hope this helps someone else.
Update. I just called customer service and they posted the missing points to my account.
