If you are a frequent Target shopper, you likely know that Target hosts a Toy Clearance event twice a year – usually in January and July – where select toys and possibly other items are marked up to 70% off! Keep in mind that many items may not be marked on clearance, so be sure to use the price scanner. Also, if you’re a Target REDcard holder, you’ll save an additional 5% off these clearance prices!

I went by my Target today and was disappointed. Many toys were still only 30% or 50% off and not much I’d be interested in at 70%. I did find a Cinderella layer n style doll for $5.98.
They seem to be marking them gradually rather than doing a single large markdown, which is great IMO. Makes the resellers work a little harder since everything is not marked down at once.
Yes one store I went to last time had people lined up at opening time the day of the 70% off and people were buying carts of toys! The clearance aisle was cleaned out less than an hour after opening. Today I checked the same store there were plenty of toys 30 to 70% off. Picked up a lego elves tree hideaway set for 50 % off

My Target still has signs up for 30% off, most tags show 50% but ring up 70% off!

Btw do not get the flutterby fairies. They break so easy. We went thru 2 defective ones. Not worth even $7

Got 3 toys 70% today. I am glad I looked. Max tow truck toys for 8.98 (big set) and 2.08 (loop and a truck) and a Disney cars projector toy that tells stories for 2.68. I am pretty much set for xmas for my 3 yr old now.
Can you tell me the brand of the projector that’s cars I have been looking for one but want to make sure it’s the right brand before I check my target.~ thanks in advance
The dcpi is 204041464. Tech kids is the brand. It’s small and looks like it hooks up via a tablet. It was so cheap I figured worth a try. They had nemo and some other Disney characters too.
Unfortunately it only works with their projector system. These accessories are useless without it. The system gets terrible reviews though 😞

I was so excited today, I picked up the furreal pets starlily unicorn orig. $118 for $35!! Got the last one. I’ve been going every week as every week I am noticing they are adding more toys. I never saw the unicorn before except for today. I also picked up Princess palace pets bright eye cat orig $39, got it for $15. Last week I picked up some Mickey Mouse toys, a space ship building toy, and a Mickey Mouse train set, and play doh pet shop kit. I can’t stop myself with such great deals.
I went a few days ago. Lots of hexbugs marked 70% off. Also got a star wars and super hero chisel set. They are buried and you have to chis away at it with a pick and mallet to uncover it and some tokens, I never saw it before but thought it was pretty neat.
Check reviews before buying Hexbug Nanos. They get terrible reviews.
I got a lot of imaginext toys for under $3 (rescue bots and jurassic park) great for potty training rewards. I also got robot turtle game for 12.50 (only 50% off but it was still full price at another target and $18 on amazon) also scored star wars lego sets for less than $5
