Went to Staples yesterday and everything was gone. I got lucky because a employee double checked for me if they had anymore Expo Markers which were at $3.00. So only got 4 packs Expo Markers for $7.55 Because I had a couñon for sign up which took 5 off. I also tried Office Depot and everything was gone 🙁

Staples does have some great deals right now, but I want to remind everyone to check their receipts while out snagging all the great back-to-school deals at various stores. I purchased 2 Jansport backpacks and lots of school supplies at Staples last week. Fortunately, I checked my receipt before leaving the parking lot, because I was charged $60.99 for a backpack that had a $45.99 price tag on it. The customer service person was very friendly & quickly processed a credit for me… Just wanted to pass it on since I doubt that it’s only my local staples that had the wrong price in their computer system! (It was the Jansport Big Student Backpack, by the way.)

My staples will only do the 110% price match if they don’t have the item on sale. If it on sale…but still more than the competitor they will do the 100% price match.
i went to three staples around my area in los angeles and every one of those staples told me that they are no longer doing 110%, just 100% price match. didnt even matter if the same item was on sale at staples. they didnt honor it even though i showed them that on their website and their ad had big letters “110% price match”, manager wouldnt do it either. and the items would not have been free or better than free. anyone else having the same problem?
