Head on over to eBay.com where you can purchase this 1byone Wireless Home Security Driveway Alarm for just $12.99 shipped (regularly $19.99). This alarm is easy to install and requires no wiring and no batteries required –  the receiver can easily be plugged into an electrical outlet.

When the sensor detects moving heat from car engines or human beings, the transmitter will activate and send a wireless signal to the receiver. A powerful 120-decibel alarm sounds as soon as motion is detected within a 20-foot range. The unique security code between chime and sensor avoids interference with neighbor’s chimes.

This sounds interesting! Has anyone used it? If it doesn’t use batteries, is it solar powered?

Ahh ok, “no wiring and no batteries required” but plugs in, gotcha. It looks like the receiver is plugged in and the transmitter uses batteries. Still, it is a good price… just wondering if I could use it!

I’m going to check with the hubby. Safety alert: Don’t answer the door when it rings and Your not expecting anybody. Check the peep hole real good. I was expecting my daughter to be picked up in an hour, so thought maybe… Especially when the lady said “hello, is anybody in there?” Weird right? As she spoke about this “Free” carpet cleaning. It was VERY obvious it was a scam and she was attempting to get into our home only to case it as they “cleaned” then later steal what looked good to them. Needle to say a No solicitors sign has been slapped up. Ladies and gents be on your guard. don’t fall for this “free” carpet cleaning scam.

We have 4 dogs and they work great as a door bell. They even bark when we drive up into the carport. LOL
