They charge for everything, but if you don’t do any extras and just bring a small backpack (see guidelines) you can get from here to there sooooo inexpensive. I love frontier. I sometime just look to see what deals they have from my airport.

Just to clarify…I fly frontier often and here’s the scoop on the fees: you do not have to pay for your seat selection, when that screen comes up click the tiny link on left corner that says “no thanks, I’ll take whatever” and it chooses seats for you at no extra cost. The carry on luggage charge is for luggage going over your head in the compartment ($35). Under the plane is $25. If you have a purse/tote bag/backpack/diaper bag those are considered a “personal item” and are free! So actually it is possible on one of these deals to fly $40 round trip with no extra fees if say you pack your stuff in a backpack. Hope this helps!
That’s nuts…I mean I get that this is their business model…but I’ll stick with paying a little more and flying southwest.
I was charged $100 for my carry on because I bought my ticket on Orbitz! God awful airline.
