Shoes It’s time get out there and go shoppin’ for SHOES! 🏃

As I mentioned earlier, now through September 17th, participating Sears locations (click here for a list of stores) are offering up a *HOT* deal on shoes for Shop Your Way Rewards members! Whenever you buy $25 or more in shoes in-store only (excludes clearance, workboots and everyday great prices), you’ll get back $25 in points! Yes, really!

Sears $25 in Points Shoe Promo
Shoes Note that I actually went out and tested this deal. I’m excited to say that it worked better than expected as you can do it MULTIPLE times in separate transactions, AND sale items qualify! If you’re a visual learner, you can check out my Facebook Live video HERE.

Sears Shoes

They have a TON of cute shoes for the entire family. I was surprised by their nice selection and low prices!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* Points will only be valid for 14 days and purchases must be made in a single transaction.
* This promo is valid in-store ONLY.
* You’re total will need to be at the $25 mark to get the $25 back in points.
* Your points will not be available to use for 48 hours.
* You CAN do this deal more than once, but you’ll need to separate your transactions.
* You’ll get another $10 back in Shop Your Way Points when you make a $40 shoe purchase in a single transaction. That means, if you spend $40 on shoes, you’ll get a whoppin’ $35 back in points with the combination of both points promo!

Happy Shoe Shoppin’! 👠

Wow!! Since this goes through Sept 17 can we roll it every few days until then?

  2. Heidi

So I buy 1 pair for $25.00. then I do another transaction and get the second pair free?

    • Dee

I don’t believe so, it would have been mentioned in post. Usually these deals with Kmart/Sears you can’t roll.

      • stephanie

You could get the 2nd pair but after 48 hours as the post states the points take that long to post to your account. Hope that helps!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you will have to wait to use these bonus points until they have been applied to your account (which takes about 48 hours) and I am honestly not sure if they “Roll” (if you’ll be able to pay with the bonus points and still earn bonus points). I will be testing in a few days.

      • Rebecca Garrett Bradley

Did you find out if you could pay with the bonus points and still earn the points?

  3. sara

I still can’t find out what stores offer this. I’ve called the two stores closet to me and the people that work there are air heads and just say no because they never heard of it. It seems like I tend to know more than the works when it comes to sears and kmart, it s so frustrating! I don’t want to waste m;y time and gas if they don’t have it, but I don’t want to miss out if they do, but the workers just don’t know. I wish I could search online for something… ugh!

  4. amy

    Would boots count?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, regular fashion type boots should work. Here are the exclusions – clearance, workboots and everyday great prices.

  5. Monika

There’s a $10 ibotta rebate when you spend $40 at Sears.

    • Bridgette Mattison

I am not seeing this under Ibotta

  6. Ben

Don’t see a link for the participating stores.

  7. Clifton

If you pay with points will you receive them on eligible items?

  8. heather

How do you use your syw membership in stores? Thx

    • Just Me

You type in your phone number at check out. You need your pin if you redeem more than $10 in points so I text syw and they send me my pin really quickly.

  9. Luv 🌺

Just know that if you pay with SYW points, you won’t get the points back even if it shows that you earned points in the final order page or confirmation email. I just received an email reply from SYWR regarding my request for the missing points $21 for back to school shoe deal 2 weeks ago; and they said that since I paid part of the order with points, they will NOT reward any points even though my order confirmation states that the order earned $21 and I have the screen shots; they are claiming that those are ESTIMATES ONLY. I feel reaped off by this sleazy move on their part and I will call them again and send another email. So frustrated with them.

    • Just Me

Yes I had the same problem with the clearance spend $10 get $10. I received no points ( I paid like $1 in points but still $10 before tax oop) my $10 off $20 coupon also didn’t work. I did online chat which I don’t advise cuz the rep kept saying I got my points but I knew the points in my acct were from a new purchase. I called and the second rep confirmed I received no points for clearance but he did give me $10. He couldn’t do anything about the coupon so I returned the other item which made my total $20+.

      • Just Me

Item that made my total purchase $20+. Syw really frustrates me.

      • Heidi

I bought shoes 2 years ago at blackfriday deals. they were buy 1 get 1 free. well they never shipped them all out refused to respond to email or calls and It was never resolved. So don’t buy online from them.

        • Bethany

I had something similar happen. They never shipped my shoes but said I said I couldn’t get a refund until I received the shoes and returned them. Pyss poor customer service——not based in the USA unfortunately. I stopped shopping there for this reason. Stores tend to have these “super promos” when sales are bad——-no wonder people don’t shop there anymore. (These points things are just like Kohls, and I hate shopping there, too——most people don’t want to have to come back to a store twice in order to “save”)

    • Molly

This is so true! Happened to me!! Apparently it is in some super fine print that the points you will earn are really ESTIMATED!! So extremely sneaky and sleazy of the Shop Your Way program! I really love a deal but this is not when you’re never sure you’ll get any points! And the customer service people, in store or online, are completely clueless!!

      • Heather C.

I stay away from sears and kmart deals because of all the trouble I’ve had out of them in the past… And their customer service- over the phone, AND in stores is horrible!

Off topic: Collin is there a max on characters/words we can post? The reason I ask is because I notice others as well as my comments getting cut off. Is so, please what is the max character allowed? I’m on the app on iPhone if that makes a difference.
Thank for all that you and the H2Save team do everyday to save us money and sanity (school lunch ideas especially 😜)🌺

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi there!
So sorry that you’re having issues with longer comments. As far as I know, there should be no max word limit when you comment. If this happens again, can you email me and let me know what comment it is so we can try to figure out why this is happening? Thanks much (collin@ hip2save.com)

And thanks much for the kind words. I sure appreciate it and will pass along to the team. 😊

      • Alli

Yes, I’ve seen this on many posts where people commented longer. I was wondering what was happening.

        • Rebecca In TX

I see this all the time on app comments! There’s definitely some kind of character limit or comment box pixel size limit in place.

          • AP

I see it all the time here too. I don’t think it’s a new issue.

            • Bethany

Nope, not a new issue. It’s been happening since the app debuted a few years ago.

  11. CJ

Darn, none of the ones near us…though it might be a blessing in disguise bc I always buy things that I don’t always need, just for the points and most of the time, they expire before I remember to use them 😟

  12. Diane

Thanks for this post! I just watched the video. That store was deserted!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to check this deal out!!! Once you get your points, could you give us ideas of what you spend them on? (Lots of times I get points and then can’t decide what to spend them on.) Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome Diane! We will be sure to post if any sweet deals pop up! πŸ˜‰

  13. laureen

LOVE sears and shop there all the time, but of course none of the two next to me. The one that is an hour away.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! πŸ™

  14. Cindy

I don’t know yet if my store is participating but the last time I was in there last week, they barely had any shoes to sell.

  15. kylie

I have only used syw on line.Is there a way to recover the phone number and pin to use in the store.Would be so grateful for the info. Thanks

    • Lauren

When you go to shopyourway.com in the browser you can get all your info

      • Sandy

Thanks for this link. It helped me find the information I needed.

  16. Amber

All shelters always need wash clothes, towels, (dog and cat food…(animal shelters) men, women and homeless…personal hygiene items, everything is a blessing for those in need. Sorry so long…to many ideas..Never! Never know what a blessing you can be and how many blessings come back! Thanks for reading!Blessings to anyone and everyone who wants/needs it!

    • LindaS

What great suggestions you gave Amber. And a great idea to use points you don’t know what to do with, to donate. As you said there are so many in need.

    • CJ

What a great suggestion. A simple way to make a difference. I like the way you think.

  17. dhigc

Thank you so much, will go tommorow.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

  18. Kamaya

Thank you. I have two locations that are participating in my area, plus I received an email spend $40 take $15 off.

  19. Michele

How long do you normally have until the points expire?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You will have 14 days πŸ™‚

  20. Christine

Oh poo, not in my area:(

  21. M.

Wonder why this isn’t company wide? Only a few store in PA participating and none near me : (

  22. jackie

I did a similar deal on Kmart’s website. They are/were having buy one get one for $1. I ordered 3 paira of sneakers and a pair of boots for $20!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet deal Jackie! I am not finding that now as I search through.

  23. Gretchen

The bonus $ that you receive…. Can you combine it or use it for separate $25 purchases? Thanks sooooo much!

  24. Ma8843

Worked for me!!! Thanks so much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! You’re so welcome!

  25. Mommylipps

Bummed! My store was get $10 points if you buy 2 pair of athletic shoes $40 or more 😞

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! It appears only certain stores are participating in the promotion as listed above. I’m wondering if yours was one that was not πŸ™

  26. Stephanie

Got the 25,000 but spent $42. Not sure why i didn’t get bonus 10,000. Going to call.

  27. crissy

FYI…. in Connecticut my store did not have any signs up. I decided to try the deal and sure enough I received the $25 bonus! and the $10.

    • Sarah

This is good to know. I didn’t try it, probably should have I guess. The employees kept telling me I needed a special coupon to make it work.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Glad you could snag the deal!

  28. Ashley

Hi Collin, I went to the Hickory Sears at Valley Hills Mall as listed in the stores thats doing promo they were in fact doing this $25 and get back $25 in points but it was not advertised in store. But the spend $40 and get back $10 in syw was advertised but when I purchased $51 in shoes I was awarded the $25 but not the $10 just wondering why? Anybody else have this problem?

    • AnnaD

Ashley, I ran into the same problem too.

    • Kaela

Had the same issue in Madison, WI at the West Towne Mall. Nothing advertised in store, but thought I’d test it out and bought over $50 in shoes. I just received the $25 in points back, not the extra $10, so I returned one pair of shoes to make it just over a $35 purchase.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd. Thanks for sharing your experience!

  29. Sandy

LOVE this deal!!! The kids and I needed shoes and we were able to stock up thanks to this great deal. Now that I officially received the points, we’ll probably go back to the store and buy more. So excited!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that Sandy! πŸ˜€

  30. Sandy

Collin, will you please keep us posted on Sears deals that we can spend our points on over the next few weeks? Thanks for posting this deal! Would have never known about it if you hadn’t.

  31. Natalie

Well that stinks, nothing in the DFW area. Would have to catch a flight to get to a nearby location. Thanks anyway

  32. Lisa

Collin, thank you SO much for posting this deal! We went and rocked it yesterday!! Note-my points were available for immediate use & we spent them the same day they were earned!! πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welcome!! Glad to hear it worked for ya!

  33. See Mark

Anyone try going a second time or using points to purchase instead of cash yet?

    • Sarah

With Sears, you can’t earn the $25 back if you pay with points. It has to be out of pocket $25.

  34. Nikki

    When does this end?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

September 17. And the points you earn are valid for 14 days. πŸ™‚

  35. Julie Tietje

My Sears had a sign for $10 back in points when you spent $30. Still worth doing, so I shopped and found my son some shoes. Then, when I got to the checkout, they informed me that their internet was down and they could only accept cash AND they couldn’t use SYW rewards/cards. I was super bummed and walked away with nothing! πŸ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn πŸ™ Sorry to hear their internet was down! Have you been able to go back in and shop again?

  36. Kathy

This is the last weekend for this promo. Going to head to a store some distance away. Hoping you can clarify my questions.
    1. Do you have to buy just one pair of shoes for $25 OR can you buy several more than one pair to reach $25?
    2. Can you use SYW points on the transaction and get the points back. Reading the posts it seems IF you use SYW points you will not get them back. Is that correct? Does this rule apply to ALL SHOP YOUR WAY points?
3 I just bought from $15 to $25.00 in school supplies get your points back. Can I use those points on the shoes and still get the $25.00 back. Just not up to speed on these points.
