Over the past two years, I have taken advantage of the free promos and created many unique personalized calendars and recyclable bags. The calendars are printed very durable card stock and the collage pictures are adorable. I make for my mother every year so she remembers when all the special family birthdays and anniversaries are. The bags are very strong and can hold a lot. Planning to make one for myself this time as I’ve done many for others. Thank you to shutterfly.

Shutterfly still makes money on shipping lol. its not like they are being sweetie hearts giving things away. they know if they don’t offer “free” items very few people will buy them full price.
I think everyone’s already pretty much aware of that but the fact still remains that even at just the price you’re paying for “shipping”, you’re still getting a great quality, personalized photo item which make great gifts at reasonable prices and shipped right to your door to boot!

I made some this summer and love mine. The photos are crisp and clear. I’ve used them with both hot and cold drinks and so far so good. Surface of coaster has not be affected by temperature or condensation & photo still looks awesome. Such a fun way to get guests and rest of my family to protect my tables without me coming across as bossy 😉 Plan to order additional sets when they’re free to place in different areas of the house and for grandparents’ gifts.
YES, I agree that the quality of the coasters is amazing! If you are on the fence about getting these, go ahead and do it – you will be very happy with them! A set of coasters makes a unique and personalized gift, and if you are only paying for the postage,, that makes it a fantastic deal for a high quality present.

I love, love, love the coasters! Very high quality. The have a nice gloss on top that doesn’t fade. I’ve had mine about a year and they still look like new. Both cold and hot drinks and condensation doesn’t do anything. I made a coaster for each one of us in the family so we don’t get confused whose cup belongs to who and kids don’t keep pulling out more cups throughout the day! I need more and these make great gifts!!

One year for Christmas, I made a calendar with our family’s favorite recipes and gave it to my daughter who was moving into her own apartment. Along with each month’s recipe, I included photos of each dish (and/or our family members enjoying it or helping to make it).. My daughter loved it, and after hanging it in her kitchen for the year, she now keeps it with the rest of her cookbooks and uses it often! It was a fun way to pass on family recipes instead of doing a photo book which might get spilled on. She said having the calendar hanging on the wall while she was making a recipe made it super easy to glance at and kept it clean.
Just wanted to pass on that idea. I intend to do this again for our other kids when they move out 🙂

Puzzles come in a nice sturdy box with a picture of the puzzle on the front. Like one you would buy from a store. Great quality! I give them as gifts all the time.

I also use points from Kellogg’s Family Rewards and/or Coke rewards to purchase like items and save on shipping with these free items. Not all products are available through Kellogg’s and Coke, though so it depends on what I would like to make. Kellogg’s has the calendar for 12,900 points (shipping for one calendar is $6.99, but 2 only goes up to $9.99). Coke also has the calendar for 243 points. Unless something has changed, I have been able to use both the free code from Shutterfly and the code from Kellogg’s or Coke at the same time.
Also, Kellogg’s has a monthly special on some Shutterfly items. The 11×14 prints, 8.5×11 notebook and 8×11 photo book are all discounted through September 5th.
