So question when you get the gift card at the register can you use it on the purchase or you have to use it after you close that order

    • agata

You cannot use it on the same purchase

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You will have to use it on another transaction, most likely on a different day, depending on how your store allows. Hope this helps!

Am I the only one that has bad experiences with these the few times that I have used them they didn’t dissolve completely and left stains on the clothing once the plastic from the pod even like almost melted into the fabric

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear they did not dissolve completely πŸ™ Thanks for sharing your experience!

    • Sarah!!

Wow that’s never happened to me 😞

    • Mel

Something similar happened to me while on vacation last summer. The condo unit has a top loading washer and I brought pods with me to do laundry rather than dragging a bottle of liquid with us. All the white & light colored clothes had blue streaks when I took them out!! I immediately put them through another quick wash cycle (with no pod) and the streaks came out except on a pair of my VS underwear. There’s still a light blue streak across the front! After that, I would put the pod in while the water was filling, leaving the top up until it dissolved, then put my clothes in to wash.
After that, I didn’t want to take a chance with my HE machine, so I got rid of the packs I bought and use liquid only.

Mine is top load as well and I too threw them away and never used them again

    • KetaCar

I always throw mine in while the water fills, let the cycle start for maybe 30 secs until I see bubbles then add my clothes. Never had a problem with them not dissolving or streaking

I never have it happen on washing my family’s clothes, but one time it did when I was washing a heavy winter blanket. Thank goodness it was in dark color, but I noticed that the plastic didn’t fully dissolve. It could be that you overstuffed your washer to where the water is not getting to those pods to make them fully dissolve/wash off, especially those HE washers that already uses less water. It could also you used cold water only which is not as easy for them to dissolve completely. On a full load, I use two pods per wash and have no issues, using warm water/rinse. On smaller loads, I only use one pod. You can tell if you overstuffed the washer, if it’s just spinning round and round (front loader), then it’s not cleaning effectively (guilty). When that happens, I select “heavy duty” so that it would add more water in. It must be able to spin and the clothes separates/drops as it spins. Sorry for long comment, this is my personal experience to get our clothes cleaned/smelling fresh.

    • Jamie

That happens to me too and I have a front loader that it claims to work in. I have a couple packs still bc I don’t use them

    • Lori

I have the same problem with them. its the outer cover that makes the greasy looking spots.

    • Heather C

I’ve had the experience of them not dissolving completely and I had to re-wash the load (no further soap needed.). I now wash all my clothes in warm & don’t have that problem. I know I shouldn’t have to do that, but for our family, the pros outweigh the cons.

  3. Sarah!!

Question for the pamper deal I have a $10 off $50 diaper purchase the deals comes up a few cents short will they still accept it?

    • Mel

No, the register will not take it, you have to spend the full amount.

    • Michelle

No, you will need to grab a cheap pack of wipes to meet the $50.

      • Sarah!!

        Ok thanks

        • Sarah!!

I’m not sure I’ll be using this if anyone has a $10 off $10 jcp coupon or something like that they would like to trade please email me bluepurplelime@gmail.com

    • SJ
