Also, here are a couple of emails from Hip2Save readers regarding this promotion:

From Sarah: Hi Collin! I feel like I just robbed Kmart! My store had all their Women’s clearance marked at an additional 40% off AND then there was a sign for $15 back in points for every $15 spent on clearance clothing (limit of $100 per Shop Your Way account). Surely that can’t be true? Yes it was! I checked out and spent around $75 and got $70 back in bonus points! My store had a large selection, items rang up $3-7 each!!

From Bonnie: Hi Collin! Shop Your Way Members get $15 back in points (15,000 points) for every $15 spent on Men’s, Women’s & Kids’ clearance at Kmart. Points are issued the very next day and will expire 14 days from receipt.

(Thanks, Bonnie & Sarah!)

    In store only?

  2. ginger

Is this in store only ๐Ÿ™

  3. Sarah

Checked my account today and all 70,000 points are there!! Woohooo all those clothes for free. Can’t beat it. And the teen daughter even likes what I bought her. SCORE!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

That ROCKS Sarah! Nice job! ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Heather C

Yeah, you’re a ROCK STAR if your teen likes them. That’s almost as good as couponing, if not better- LOL

    • Dee

Sarah, not knocking you or the deal but I wonder, and I’m trying to understand, is it free or just 1/2 off?? Take this deal, you spend $15 out of pocket to get $15 in points back that you will then get something potentially free. But you spent $15 …. Isn’t that like getting 50% off??

      • Mackenzie

Yes, thats exactly it. And many people forget to use the points too.

      • Ann Dee

Ya, it’s just how you want to look at it. If you buy some more clothes with the points then I look at it as half off all the clothes. If you go buy toilet paper you would buy anyway, then I look at it as free clothes since I would normally spend $ on tp. Prob the easiest is to say whatever you buy with points is the FREE stuff. Just my thoughts…everyone looks at it differently. ๐Ÿ˜‰

        • Amy

Just a note: the tp more then likely won’t be a good deal. Not like the killer ones from staples, kroger or amazon. Kmarts grocery/ householdl/ beauty is usually overpriced. So unless you buy more clothes with the points then I’m not sure its a super deal. Maybe I’m wrong its been known to happen before.

          • thehenrydthoreau

I play the sweeps. I’ve earned enough free points for months to score free toilet papers and .05 boxes of Kleenex.

    • Sue

You only have 2 weeks to use the points. So what are you going to buy with the $70 in points. So basically you paid clearance price for the first day shopping trip. Just curious, what you are going to get to pair with the first deal. I’d like to go look but not sure what else I’d get to pair for a good deal.

  4. Kalee

Will this work on purchases made with points or must the purchase be made with cash?

    • Cassandra

I think its oop only. Some of the deals are valid online but when I tried paying with points it wouldn’t give me any back.

  5. Carolyn

Is this part of the same offer from a couple of weeks ago? I loved that one. Didn’t know if I could try it again or not.

    • Campanita

Probably a new one, I was there on Saturday trying to spend the points that I received with the buy $10 get $10 in points, but my store only had the 30% on clearance so I am hoping that they have this new promotion. I saw a lot of nice clothes that I wanted to buy on Saturday, good thing I did not. I will go during the week and buy $50 or even more.

  6. Roo Riley

I actually just did it online. I couldn’t use my points and still get points back. But I spent $20, so I used $5 in points and paid $15 oop and got $15 back in points. I couldn’t find it stated anywhere, but I gave it a shot and it worked.

    • Roo Riley

Oh, and I had to pick things up in-store.

  7. Sarah

I tried this last week and didn’t get the points, but couldn’t figure out why. I bought clearance from the kids section as well as a clearance item from the teen section. Are certain brands excluded?

    • kay

No but sometimes it’s just a technical error. I bought $60 worth this week and took a picture of the display, when I didn’t get the points I emailed syw and they manually added them to my account.

    • Tiffany

I was missing some points from the last deal. I just gave them a call and the points were added to my account. I didn’t need proof, they just looked up the transaction.

  8. Dawn

Anybody else having issues with there orders not going through? I get charged for the transaction but then I don’t get an email confirmation and the order doesn’t show up in my order history either. When I call Kmart they can’t find the order number I give them either. This started yesterday and happened to my last 2 orders.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd, is the order confirmation landing in your spam or junk email folders?

  9. alyssa

Hi do you have to do them in different transactions to get each $15 in points or can you buy $30 and get $30 in one transaction? Also is it automatic or is there a card coupon we have to add on our account?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! You just have to be a Shop Your Way Member And you CAN get $15 back in points for every $15 spent on clearance clothing (limit of $100). Can be done in one transaction ๐Ÿ™‚

      • alyssa

Thank you so much! Will be going shopping later.

  10. Nicole

Does anyone know if you can use syw points to pay and still earn points in the same transaction?

    • Nicole

Nevermind. I see my question answered up top. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Bonnie Avery

More often than not, I use my points for pet food when I’ve got a limited time to use them. Otherwise, I buy paper & laundry goods. There’a no limit to how many of these I can keep on hand. By the way, I was able to find this on Kmart.com, however, since I always choose store pick-up, I will go to the store & get an in person look at what’s in stock.

  12. Bonnie Avery

On using points to purchase pay for this deal, I have found that I have to use some cold cash with the points to qualify for points.

  13. Christina

I’m not seeing this deal posted posted at my store, just 30% off clearance. Is the $15 in points back every Kmart or just select ones?

  14. Viccky

My receipt says I earned them but I do not see them in my account. Are the points available the next day?

  15. arpita

Hi I am new to this point stuff do I have to have coupon or anything or does it take off right away and if I spent $15 in morning can I use it at evening again

  16. Meeshag

Dies kds include clearance baby clothes? Can you buy baby clothes and get back the points?

  17. Meeshag
