School lunch items in shoe organizer

As you can see from the pictures above, shoe organizers can do much more than organize shoes – use them to organize hair accessories, art supplies, toiletries and even school lunch items! That’s right! Head here to watch my recent Facebook Live Video where I show you how I’ve used a shoe organizer to make packing school lunches a breeze!

      Awesome! You’re very welcome!

There are A LOT of bad reviews on this item. Seems too flimsy.

    • Sarah

It has a 4 star rating out of 1,500. That’s pretty good.

Just watched the video. Thanks for sharing Collin and Amanda (camerawoman). Unfortunately I don’t have pantry, just cabinets so nowhere to hang the show organizer. I do use the shoe organizer in my room to organize my belts and some scarfs. Have a blessed day H2Save family. 🌺

If you have wall space you could hang one of those grundtal bars from ikea and hang it from that.

Such a great idea! I will order one just for lunches alone. I very much dread packing lunches every night, especially for 3 kiddos! Very excited about this idead..thanks!!

      You’re welcome Lizz!

We use one on the back of my daughter’s bedroom door to organize everything from art supplies to Minnie Mouse earbands 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cool!

I love these shoe organizers. I have them on almost every door in my house. We use them for shoes, bath toys, cleaning supplies, barbies and monster high dolls, art supplies and stuffed animals. We have never had any issues with quality. They even hang great with the medium size command hooks on walls.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the great feedback Angie! So neat how useful they have been for you!

    • Shannon

      bath toys…Great idea!

    • Maria

      No it comes with it

  8. Cassandane

Ahhh I need this for all of my LuLaRoe leggings! 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great idea!

    • Sara

That’s exactly what I use to store mine & it works perfectly!

  9. Danielle

Any tips on not scratching up the door and jam? Alternative hanging methods?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Danielle! Another reader mentioned using medium sized command hooks. Hope this helps! 😉

      • Amy

I use command hooks as well because my doors won’t shut with the hooks hanging over the top of them.

    • maclover

Use command hooks and to avoid them from swinging side to side use museum putty

The shoe organizer I ordered on Amazon about a month ago I gave to goodwill. I was very disappointed in that purchase. It was very flimsy and cheap.

Personally in my craft room and closets that I use these-I use a staple gun to staple to wall between the rows etc and super support!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip!

Didn’t someone else post their idea of school lunches in these organizers in one of these comment threads a while back??

  13. Pumpkinjr99

Ordered mine in July and still haven’t gotten it. They shipped it to the wrong state. Have conversed with them three times and problem is still not solved 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn! Maybe try contacting them again? Hoping it is resolved for you soon!

I have one in my classroom. Many students choose to place their phones in the pockets to help them focus on learning during class.
