My Walmart doesn’t allow for overages.

  2. Judy Trac

Couldn’t find this at my wm

      Darn!

Does anyone buy an6thing other than led bulbs nowadays? We recently changed over every bulb to led about 65 in total and noticed a $15 drop in our electric bill and they are to last for a long time

    • A

How much did it cost you to switch everything over to LED?

      • Jennine

If the $15 savings is consistent they will Save $150 in just one year. Some LED’s are set to last 10 years. I’d say that’s substantial saving 🙂

      • Laura

I get all of mine free – if not a money maker after I submit a rebate to my electric company.

    • dblD-amber

I went to costxo and they had 4 packs for 5.99 I think overall we spent about $175 so in about a years time we should make it back

    • Berni

When LEDs were starting to come out – maybe 2 years ago? – there was a promotion at Walgreens by National Grid (our electricity company) and I was able to get them 2 for a dollar. I bought a case for myself and one for my daughter. I wanted to swap out all my bulbs right off but my husband wanted to replace as the florescents went so I’m only using 6 or so of them now. How big of a percentage of your bill was that $15/mo drop? I want to start changing bulbs now, ha ha.

We had our big old tube TV in the basement and when it finally went we got a LED TV and noticed a surprising drop in our bill.

    Thank you for the deal.
A question please: does cvs accept overages ??!! I know they were accepting in the past, but I don’t know now with the new policy! I have the $14 tena coupon (thank you h2s) and I want to use it at cvs but I’m not sure about the overages now!! I’ll appreciate any help thank you

    • Laura

      Mine doesn’t

    • Tiffany

Hi Dora. The CVS does accept overages, but they will change the price to match with the price whatever at the time you buy. For example ; if Tena on sale at $11.99 and the coupon $14. It will take off $11.99, and they don’t give you the different in cash, just like you have the item for free. Hope that help.

      • Laura

        how is that an overage?

        • Jessica R

It’s not an overage. They’re just giving it to you for free. When I used the Tena coupon at Target.. It pushed through for the full $14.99 when they were only $11.99. So that example would be an overage. I’ve only had that a few times, otherwise they will just match the price with no issues.

Are these coupons beeping with these light bulbs? If it’s going to be a hassle I won’t even bother since my Walmart is picky.

    • Lindak

Didn’t beep at Target. Every coupon I use at Walmart beeps. What a pain!

      • kylee

        Were they free at Target?

        • Lindak

I bought the GE Aline bulbs at Target. After coupons and cartwheel they were about a dollar per bulb (60 w).

          • kylee

            Thank u

    • Laura

I used this coupon yesterday on LED bulbs and it didn’t beep. Not sure on these

I have a comment on LED bulbs made by GE. We got 4 of them to start over the conversion from CFLs less than 2 years ago when there was another deal on them at Target. Back then they were much higher priced. We put all 4 in bulbs we use everyday and in much less than 1 years time they started to flicker??? I knew I read on GE pkg. they guarantee them, so I called and they very nicely sent me coupons to replace them. I think only 2 were bad at that time but now the other 2 bulbs just shut off! I called them again and they said they would send more coupons but I have never received them. I called again and they said they would make sure I got the coupons but I have yet to get them? I love other GE products and possibly this was a bad batch of bulbs, but I hesitate to buy more (even with the deal here) unless others here have any comments on their own GE LED’s. How long have they lasted you? My CFLs actually did last the 7 yrs they say, but the LED’s are supposed to last more than 10 years!? (I had to put back old spiral CFLs until I get some more new) Thanks if anyone has a comment.

    • Laura

Good to know I’ll keep my receipt

    • Miss Amanda

I have had horrible experiences with these. I have not gotten 2 years out of them ever and have purchased many many packages

  7. Judy Thuan

Mine lasted for a while over 5 years

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh wow! Glad to hear how long it lasted! Thanks for the heads up!

  8. ronni

I wouldnt care if the coupon beeps as long im getting a deal or if im holding up the line if they have to override it or get a manager. Lol……. ty h2save

  9. Susan

I was questioning why the big drop in price on these. It seems Target and Costco both have them on substantial mark down. I’m wondering if they are changing the technology and want to dump these. Perhaps it is because of the short life mentioned above. Just curious, anyone know?

  10. teresa

USED THE COUPON AT WALMART AT SELF CHECKOUT AND NO PROBLEMS JUST ASKED THE CASHIER TO COME OVER TO APPROVE COUPONS. SHE JUST KEYED APPROVED COUPONS. EASY NO HASSLE. LOVE THE OVERAGE. LOL THANK YOU COLLIN FOR TELLING US.!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re SO welcome! Glad you could score the savings! 😉

Target has a better deal to me, because the bulbs will last for 3+ years and I am still using my gift cards to pay for my purchases. I was aslo able to get a huge stock pot 20 quarts for $29 with the 15% Cartwheel discount, awesome.
