This is the best bread maker! My parents had theirs for over 20 years and it still works great! I bought my Panasonic bread machine back in January and love it so much, perfect bread every time!

I just have to weigh in on bread machines in general. I went back and forth for a long time over whether I wanted one or not. I love homemade bread, and I love having control over what is in my bread, but I wondered if I would use it often enough to justify the space it would take up in a cabinet or on my counter. A friend lent me her bread machine (because she never used it and it was just taking up space in her pantry), and I used it to make bread. The loaf it made was diappointing.

BUT then I used the machine on the dough cycle to just mix, knead, and raise the bread (and dough for other things, like pizza dough and cinnamon rolls). I LOVE IT for that purpose. Those doughs are so light and springy and so, so easy to work with. The family likes the bread machine kneaded breads better than my hand-kneaded breads, and it’s so much easier than kneading by hand! I use it at least twice a week. It is so worth the space it takes up in the cupboard.

I only use mine for the dough setting! It’s probably 18 years old? If i make double batches though I’ll use my big kitchen aid.

That’s awesome! Thanks for the helpful feedback! Glad to hear how well it kneads the dough!

I own a Panasonic bread machine and use it almost daily. We have 4 kids and need to make them school lunch everyday. In my usual bread, I only put 7 ingredients; flour, butter, sugar, salt, milk, water and yeast and I feel safe to feed my children the homemade bread. The cost of one loaf of bread is around $1.50 with most organic ingredients!! Plus with busy schedule we don’t have to run to a store to buy bread like every other day if you have this machine! I usually set a timer before I go to sleep (as well as my coffee maker!) and in the morning the bread machine beeps to let us know the bread is ready. It only takes about 3 minutes to gather all the ingredients and set a timer!! If you are someone like me I would definitely recommend this machine!!

Super cool that you have been able to make your own bread so often! Thanks for the great review!

My family has had this machine for a few years and it’s still going strong, makes great bread.

So by “today only”, Amazon really meant “for a couple of hours until we change our mind.”

SO sad. I’d been thinking all day about it and just went to purchase as knew it was a “today only” deal and its back up to 101

Bummer 🙁 Hoping the deal pops up again soon so you can snag it!
