I bought the 10″ Doc McStuffins bike for my 3 year old daughter last year and it was the worst purchase I ever made. It was super cute and she was excited on Christmas morning, BUT the pedals are attached to the front wheel and there was no way that her legs could have reached them. I just recently sold it at a yard sale because even a year later, she was not tall enough to reach the pedals. I guess if you want to use it as a balance bike (since your child’s legs will not reach the pedals and it has no brakes), it would work fine.
We had that issue at first, but my daughter grew into it when she turned 3. Just this morning I noticed her peddling around the kitchen. It was a great purchase for us!
Darn! Sorry to hear it was too big for her! Thanks so much for the honest feedback Melissa!
do you know if we can return this if doesnt work for us? I know that kmart is closing stores and just wanted to make sure
Hi there! You can check out their Return Policy. Hope this helps!
We had the Minnie Mouse version of the Doc Mcstuffins bike and I don’t recommend it. The tires are plastic, the petals are more forward like a trike making it hard to impossible to ride if they have short legs, and it doesn’t have brakes! I would go with the 16″ bike for $10 more any day! That is a great deal!
