This stuff is great. Best plant based milk I have tried.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What exactly is plant based milk made from?

Plant based milk is an alternative for dairy. Dairybusiness is a very cruel business, watch on you tube how they tear calves away from their moms and then proceed to do stuff like hit the calves before sending them off to slaughter so that we – humans – can proceed to drink the milk which was meant for the calf that gets killed instead. The world is waking up to this cruelty that we have been ignorant of for so long. That’s one of the reasons people go plant based, it’s also much healthier than cow’s milk. Ripple milk is delicious and cashew milk, hope you try it 🙂 Have a great day.

Thats an incredibly ignorant comment to make. You probably have never been to a dairy farm, if you look for the worst of the worst outcomes of course you are going to find it. Milk is not the only product that comes from dairy and veal is eaten by many. If its your preference to not use dairy products than good for you. Having studied agriculture and personally know many people in the food animal industry it is such a rude and insulting thing to assume all operations are cruel and abusive.

Monika, great comment! Nicole, any person who work in this industry will say only good things about it. IMO, if a being living will be killed or maintained in a cage, than it is cruel. 😉

I thought the vanilla was really good

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Anna!

My daughter has severe food allergies and she’s in love with the vanilla. I mix it with neocate jr to increase calories. It’s perfect dairy and gluten free high in protein moderate amount of fat. This will probably pull her out of failure to thrive.

I just tried original unsweetened and it tasted exactly like unsweetened soy milk. Consistency is just about the same, too.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the review! Good to know!

My family said it tastes like soy milk which no one cares for. The chocolate version has a weird after taste and is not good. I will have to use it all to cook with.
