I also found some of the Melissa & Doug “on-the-go” books at Target, but they were the scratch art activity books. They were only $.22 a piece (regularly $4.99 also)!!

If your kid (ahem) saturates the Water Wow coloring pad and then rubs it hard, it is destroyed because the pages are just cardboard with a glossy overlay. But at this price, it’s a nice take-along for a trip.

THANK YOU!! I went to my target and couldn’t find them, though it showed inventory on brickseek. Asked an employee and he said they were in back and not on the sales floor. Glad I asked!! He found them for me and I got 4 of them as Christmas gifts for nieces and nephews. I just paid full price for 2 of these a few weeks ago to entertain my kids on a long road trip and both my 2 & 5 year olds loved them.
