I ran to Dollar General today to grab some contact solution and they had multiple areas within the store that were 25% off with an additional Buy 1 Get 2 Free sale. I got three Paw Patrol kid tables, 3 decorative vases, and 3 ice cube trays for $9.56. There were a lot of lawn items, craft kits, jars, cups, plates, etc for sale as well!
I was just in Dollar General and the lady said its buy 1 get 2 free of their summer stuff. She said it is every Dollar General. Looks like grilling stuff counts too!

I was pumped for this sale on Tuesday and spent more than I expected too HOWEVER I got sooooo many clothes for around $1.65 each, kids games and activities, coffee mugs, kitchen utensils… DG seasonal sales are by far my favorite. It’s a good time to stock up on larger size kids clothes for years to come as well as get holiday gifts and housewarming gifts.

I got 25 pieces of clothes for $26.05. Many pieces/outfits were originally $15 each. A great deal for clothes for my 10 year old who is extremely rough on her clothes!
I was buying buy one Get 2free offer.i will never buy a deal like that at DG.it ended up I was paying for all 3 items.the clerk said their program doesn’t have a zero balance it won’t ring up the free items as being free.Anytime I’ve done a gobo offer the free items is alwsys but in as coupon n u don’t have to pay for that item.DG needs to change this procedure.or not advertise it as buy 1get 2 offer.they should do a straight discount offer.Very upset about this.

I agree very confusing. Not sure if I was charged correctly, but in my experience Dollar General ‘s amount a mystery. I tried to figure out my receipt, but just could not follow how they calculated the discounts. I agree, why don’t they just give an extra percentage of each item.
At one dollar general they adjusted the price of the items to reflect the offer, but at other store they would not honor the offer since they said the items were already discounted and reflected the offer (Manager’s explanation). Overall, I’m happy with the deal I was able to get at one store, but the bad experience at the other store is lasting. They had WAY more items on stock, but I understand why.
I didn’t find very sad 😭 every time I disappointed
