I have to say: I bought a $100 Denny’s gift card for my sister in law for Christmas, on one of the largest/most popular sites, and of course I didn’t check the balance when it came. I wrapped it up and put it under the tree and when she tried to use it, it was blank. And they only have a “30 day” money back guarantee. Since I bought it right before Christmas, and she didn’t try to use it till February, I was out $100.00. I had to buy her a new one, since it was a gift. And don’t forget this: Regarding retail cards, even if they ship it with the money on it, if they have the number, they can enter that number online at retail stores to make a purchase and wipe it out before you get to use it. Once the 30 days is up, you have no recourse. I will NEVER make that mistake again. I would be wary of “Used Cards”

What I didn’t understand is why Denny’s wouldn’t go online to the card and look at the history and see when the money was put on/and removed. That would have at least given me a heads up on how I was taken advantage of. Did it even come with the money on it? Did they remove it before she used it etc.
I’ve never used Ebay for cards but I order from Raise all the time. I’ve had a few issues and the customer service fixed it right away!!
I’ve ordered over 40 giftcards from Ebay. I only buy the new ones and get them shipped. Haven’t had a problem yet.

I order discount cards from various websites through Gift Card Granny and I have never had any problems. I do make it a point to check the balance of each card when I receive it. I am confident that if I do incur any problems, I will get it corrected by calling customer service.
