How has this changed from before? I could always check out one book at a time.
I am also curious to know what the difference is? Still all the books I see I have to pay for on my Kindle with my prime membership. How is this different??

Thanks for the info H2S! I do have a question-when I followed the link I was shown Kindle unlimited books. I pay for Kindle unlimited so I’m wondering if the Prime Reading renders Kindle unlimited obsolete?
When I clicked on it it took me to prime reading with 1014 books total. I believe the Kindle Unlimited had a million books. If you click on a book it will say $0 for prime and $0 for kindle unlimited.

Yes! So glad for this service! Recently moved to an area in Hawaii that is far from a library or stores. Amazon Prime has become invaluable here!
So I checked about canceling my Kindle unlimited membership and you don’t get a refund for the months already paid for, which sucks, but luckily my membership ends on the 28th and I won’t be joining back up.
Anyone know if this is audio books too?
I don’t think it includes audio books and I’ll miss them when my Kindle unlimited runs out.
I am beyond excited this is part of the prime membership!! I bet it will improve. You can also get free access to books through your library using Overdrive and Hoopla. (The latter which includes music, movies, and tv.)
So many books, so little time! Sigh!
