I bought the gift wrap organizer a few days ago! Still waiting for it to come but hope that it works well.

Does anyone find it difficult to use kohls gift cards when the 30% sale is going on? Sometimes I don’t see the benefit in the gift cards because kohls doesn’t let you use the 30 percent you received even though you’re already a card member. So you are paying more for a product that you know you can get cheaper but can’t because you have a gift card. I called customer service to ask them about this, and they said I should be able to use my coupon with the gift card as long as I am a member, but this doesn’t seem to be the case, online or in store (they tell me I have to put half on card/half on gc).

I was told you just have to charge something on the CC. I bought a $25 item yesterday. I used $21 in Kohls cash, then I only got 30% off the $4 remaining balance. I was able to charge the $4 and still got free shipping. Just know that the kohls cash always comes off first then you the % off the balance.

It works but something has to be put on the kohls card. Also, I used a merchandise credit and got 0 yes to you points… Instead of 112!! They’re getting picky!

    • Lauren

Because you possibly already got the points in the original purchase?

In fairness on the merchandise credit… you got the Yes2Rewards points when you purchased the first item. And because you got merchandise credit they didn’t take your points away. So getting them again when you used the merchandise credit would be like them giving you point again for the same dollars.
