Do NOT, repeat, do NOT let your husband use this in the house. There will be cotton candy all over your walls and kitchen cabinets. I suggest the garage. Not that I would know, LOL

    • Bethany

lol that made me laugh!! ๐Ÿ‘€

      • Cw

Looking back, yes. At the time when I found cotton candy all over my brand new kitchen cabinets and walls, I was not too happy with the husband. LOL I could not believe such a small machine could spew cotton candy that far…

We have a cotton candy maker and it’s fun to break it out every now and again! One of the extra kitchen appliances that actually gets used occasionally!

Thanks, ordered one! Besides the hard candy, Just wondering where can I buy the stuff to make it? Craft store or grocery store?

Take two Werther’s originals, grind them up in the blender or with a mortar and pestle. Pour the powder in (2 Tb at a time) and you have the best cotton candy on earth especially when it’s still warm!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Wow… that sounds AMAZING! ๐Ÿ™‚

Debating on getting it for this price. It would be fun for birthdays and what not. Looks like most people have good luck with it.

Hubby said “we don’t need another gadget”, but I think the kids (and I) will definitely enjoy this. Thank you!

I have this same cotton candy machine. It is a lot of fun. We got pink cotton candy floss on Amazon to use with it and it’s yummy. You do need a lot of patience for it, though. It takes about 5 minutes to warm up and then about 10 minutes to make each cotton candy. If you are making several in a row, you’ll need to stop after a few and clean it out for it to work better. It is a low power table top machine. Just a heads up…fun yet time consuming.

OT but does anyone have a Bonton near them? I have a $10 coupon I got for making a purchase online but it is for in store only and I do not have one. Please email me at glittercrazy123@gmail.com if you would like it. Nothing needed in return just don’t want it to go to waste!

    • Nesta

      All gone!

My sister has a fancy one of these and I assume it would work for this as well…crush up basically any hard candy and make whatever flavor you want, it doesn’t HAVE to be the cotton candy sugar. Jolly Ranchers and Life Savers work really well and are really good. And as another lady said, definitely do it outside.

    • Carrie

      Hi Nesta,

I have a Bonton’s here and I could definately use it! My email address is: carrielindenberg@aol.com.

      Thank you!

      • Nesta

Carrie you were the first to email so I just sent it to you!

  14. Getta

Has anyone tried this with mints? Im curious what that would be like. Thanks

    • Kris P

We used candy cane chunks and were impressed with the flavor.

  15. Kelly McMinn

The deal is gone online:( back to original price!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for the heads up Kelly! I am seeing the price up now as well ๐Ÿ™
