I forgot to use $4 EB it expired yesterday 😏, do they still accept it ?
Most stores dont..new system they can’t override
But you can call the 1-800 number and they will reissue it!
When I tried calling the 1-800 number about expired extracare bucks, they refused to reissue them. They were also rather rude about it, which was disappointing. I’ve found that CVS’s customer service, both in store and over the phone, has been declining, and I’ve been avoiding their stores now.
I was told that after August 1st they no longer re-issue them.
I’ve used EB’s 2 days after they’ve expired.
The John Frieda coupon I have is $3 off 2 🙁
Nervous about doing this week’s deals…last week while checking out, I did ECB first, app coupons next and manufacturers coupons last. The minute the clerk entered the manufacturer’s coupons, the system recalculated a $6.67 total up to $28.xx. Even the store manager couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Very, very frustrating for both me, the clerk and the manager.
If the cashier at any point hit the total button before scanning your manuf q’s, that is what caused the register to recalculate and kick out your ECBs & app coupons. Those show as “pending” when they’re scanned and will only deduct after the cashier hits total. So when I check out, I give manuf q’s first, then all CVS scanner q’s & ECBs, then the cashier will apply any app q’s that are lit up on the screen. Have no issues doing it this way. Good luck with your shopping trip!
Mel Maybe the cashiers in your store still override !they don’t anymore in my store !!just one cvs coupon came off every time and they said we aren’t allowed to override them pay or cancel!! For every cvs coupon I do one transaction : so I spend a lot of time a lot of oop! I can’t use ECBs !’cashiers hate me more and more!i shop less and less there !! My cvs is very empty shelves are full all the time (not like the old days) they’re losing customers because of this!!and they ignore it !!cashiers are very happy they work less and they don’t see us the couponners as usual !!!
Hi Emilia! No, my cashiers don’t override, they don’t have that option in the system anymore. So far (and knocking on wood here!), all my coupons have come up clean and I haven’t had any issues presenting my coupons in that order.
