Thanks! Another Christmas gift off the list!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! You’re welcome!

  2. Hina

I bought this last time it was posted. And used it 2 times and hand wash it. There is always a rust dry mark that never goes away even though I air dry it. Just letting u know my experience.

    • Linda

Even though it says pre seasoned, I find I always have to oil it anyway even after drying to prevent rust. Pre seasoned just helps in the beginning.

    • Linda

And yes air drying doesn’t work since water still sits in the pan, stove is better.

    • dary

You need to dry it with a towel right away after you wash it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that 🙁

    • Kamaya

Hina, please watch this YouTube video on how to properly care for cast iron. They will last for years. Btw, you don’t have to use the particular oil he shows in the video 😀 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xwCeW5SYJNs

      • Hina

Thanks for all your tips will try.

  3. Marianne

You need to dry it in the stove not air dry it. Also try scrubbing the rust with salt then rinse and re-season the pan.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip Marianne!

      • Marianne

Thank you! I bought a new griddle and 8inch skillet!

  4. Leah

I love mine!! I bought more just now for gifts. I always add oil before cooking and then just wipe out…no need to “wash”. It wipes right out like a non-stick pan.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that! Thanks for the helpful feedback!

    • Leah

I also put a paper towel between each one to store.

  5. Melissa

yay thank you for posting this! I got a salad spinner I was eyeing the other day. so glad I waited for the discount!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! You’re so welcome Linda!

  7. Tanya

I use cast iron when cooking 99% of the time. I only use my stainless steel to boil pasta and cook omelettes. LOVE these pans!! I also use them to make deep dish pizza and cobbler. So good. Don’t use soap to clean these — most of the time I just wipe with a cloth and they are good to go.

  8. Nicole

Soap should never be used on cast iron just use the salt and hot water to scrub. Always hand dry and oil after each use and place in the oven with the open side down as the heat from the oven when you turn it oven will season it even more to keep it from sticking.

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)
