Trust me, you won’t enjoy it.

    • Michelle

I know!! It was almost too much! Still in shock!

      • v

They definitely delivered on the shock value.
The governor was a good guy compared to Negan.

        • Erica

The serie’s book show Negan as the worse enemy. Book’s fan always said this, but I was not prepared for how worse he would be compared to the governor. :/

    • Sarah

Oh my gosh tell me about it!! There have been some cringe worthy parts throughout the season but this episode…I just couldn’t. I kept closing my eyes and not that far in to it I told my husband I just couldn’t watch or hear it anymore. I just can’t handle sadistic physcos. I know the whole thing is made up and I could handle the zombie killings but this was totally different.

  2. Jassie C

    What an insane tense episode.

  3. v

Nice. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to watch it Sunday night.
Sling sent me an email giving me the chance to watch for the weekend for free.
Took a lot of juggling to get rid of “non necessary” apps and what not to free up storage.
Finally got it set up at 8:54 pm last night, lol. Was able to watch it and the Talking Dead program that followed.
Definitely loving Sling for giving me the opportunity to get my WD fix.
Feeling sad this morning after digesting what happened on the first episode of Season 7.
    Wow!!!!!!……that about sums it up.

I am not sure if I can watch this season. I read about what happened in the first episode, and I am stunned. I couldn’t bring myself to watch it 🙁

    • Sarah

I had to walk away from it!

  5. Danielle

My AT&T cable went out 10 minutes in, so I am very happy to be able to watch it online today. Thank you for letting us know!

  6. Kaylan

Wasn’t able to watch it last night. Unfortunately, people on Facebook said what had happened. Ruined it for me. So, for those who did watch it, don’t spoil it for those who didn’t get to see it yet. Thanks for posting. Atleast I can now see the episode and don’t have to wait for it to come out on netflix.

    • Vicky

In cases like that, I avoid any media before I am able to watch anything like that. I am very well aware, that somebody of my friends will be talking on Facebook about it and I don’t blame them, so I just simply avoid it until I catch up.

    • Amy

I agree. Those people are the worst!

  7. Jodi

I’m out. Such a brutal episode, and Negan being such a sadistic psychopath.I’m not watching it anymore.

    • Holly

Ditto. The show was gross enough before, but that’s just….shudder.

    • Hilary

I can’t handle it anymore. Last night was too much. It’s all downhill from here. 🙁

    • Marija

Agreed…they lost a viewer in me last night…it definitely crossed lines.

    • debby

Yes! I have watched this show with my husband since episode 1, (much of it peeking behind my hands…lol) but last night I said, ‘I’m done’.

    • Sarah

Yes. Yes. Yes, in total aggreance!

  8. Ashley

I don’t care for suspense so I always have to find out what happens before I stream TWD. I guess I really wasn’t shocked because a lot of people were guessing that to be the outcome. I thought they did a good job with the scene, I felt like I was there (even when I was hiding under my blanket….). I’m excited for the rest of the season, but I’d like some more zombie situations/hoards instead of so many people enemies.

    • Melloddie

Same here! I thought it was a great episode. I think they needed the intensity otherwise the show would be a bore with the same old same old, which it was beginning to liken last half of the past season. I can’t wait till we the rest of the season.

  9. jill

I don’t know ehy anyone would want someone like Negan as their leader. Maybe his followers are just really dumb?

    • Hilary

That’s what I keep thinking! How did he get this kind of power? Ugh. I need to find a therapist after last night. lol

  10. Natalie

My jaw was dropped during most of the episode. Thanks for this post! Really good episode, a must see!!!

    • Kim Tenny

I agree. Crazy but I think it’s an episode for the books! I usually fall asleep when my husband watches TWD but not last night….

    • YG

      I think the same.

  11. Rebecca

I don’t mind gore until it gets excessive, doesn’t add to the story. But this show has been using cheap gimmicks to try to bring back up the ratings, which have slipped due to sloppy writing & producing. Shows how little they care about the fan base.

    • Glenn's Brains

So not true. TWD still has as much flair as it did when it all began. You need to do some research and see how great the ratings have been throughout the years. It’s one of the best shows on TV for a reason. The gore is for realism. There needs to be gore in a show like this because thats how it would be if the setting were real. It all makes perfect sense. The atmosphere, character relationships, and storylines all come together wonderfully for this show.

      • Rebecca

I was talking about the gore on last nights show, which seems to be a common complaint here. And maybe you should do your research. While it remains a top show (or THE top show), the ratings DID slip some in season 6. No doubt this episode will be the most watched yet, but quantity does not equal quality in this case.

        • Jess

I disagree. Last night’s episode was crazy but it’s not common. I think constant gore is unnecessary but one episode let’s us understand the gravity of this situation above all other situations. It told us how bad Negan is and what people do to feed themselves and ensure they’ll be fed when the world ends.

In the episode prior we saw an entire family get eaten and no one is upset.

        • mel

The comics was pretty gross. So for them to even get what was shown from page to screen is huge. And pretty tame to what I’ve seen as a fan of Game of Thrones.

  12. Chris

I never want to see that episode ever again :'(

  13. Sarah

I’m still trying to emotionally recover from last night!!

    • YG

I don’t think I will recover when they killed off my fav char last night. Still love twd

  14. Naomi

Wow, no spoilers, you guys are so nice! Love this little money saving community

  15. Mindy May

Couldn’t sleep last night after watching this 🙁
    Still a fan though!

  16. Jenna Law

I read the comics so I’m not shocked. I gotta say I’m slightly surprised that they had the guts to actually do it though, so kudos to them. I got to watch it on Sling so I was happy.

    • YG

It is soo close to the comics. I was impressed but nevertheless it is so gory when they did it on my fav char like that. Sob. #lovetwd

    • Heather

Not as brutal as the comics….went into the episode expecting more violence then what really happened actually. It was hard, it was gross, and Neegan is a meanie….but we knew he was coming.

  17. Shannon

I think the writers are gearing up everyone to really hate negan so rick and crew can get revenge at the end of the season so all can be well again. As much as can be in their dreary world anyway.

  18. YG

Traumatized by this episode. It was “Wow and Kapow.” It really sets the tone for Negan empire has begun.

  19. tleeg

Wow….its unbelievable how people are saying “Im never watching TWD again”

First off..your liars, youre not gonna stop.

Second.. What the heck did you expect? Puppy dogs and rainbows. The comics are really gory and thats what the show us based off of.

    I say…bring it on!!!

    • debby

Seriously….never again for me. Of course it is a dark show, that really isn’t the point. For some of us, (I can only speak for myself) it crossed a line. If it didn’t for you…..that’s fine. Yes, it’s just a tv program, but it’s purpose is to entertain. And viewing that horror was NOT entertaining for me. I am done.

      • Shannon

I’m not going to give away spoilers but the eye ewwww! Too much.

    • Eric

It is just a show. I can only imagine what would be the comment if the slaughterhouses had glasses walls. We don’t seem to care unless we see it. 😉

      • debby

        Agreed!!

        I’m a vegetarian. 🙂

  20. FelissaEly

I bawled my friggin’ eyes out ;(

  21. Gina

This episode was definitely extreme & emotional, BUT absolutely necessary to propel the evolution of these characters (specifically, without naming names, the only one who wanted to go after Negan)! So excited for this season. Love TWD!

  22. arty

it says video player loading for about 2 hours now. anyone know if it’s not working?

  23. Jenzjemz

Yal, I bawled my eyes and what one character was put into the position to do, I couldn’t watch it. I cringed underneath the covers until my husband told me it was over!!! The violence was surreal and gut wrenching. Broke my heart. Time after time. I felt like I was there and was witnessing the horror firsthand!!!! I felt powerless. I cried and cried and then dreamt about it!!! I felt like I lost a member of the community!! I’m only like 2 seasons vested as well!!! Geez, what an unbelievable episode!!! Of course I know it isn’t real, but you wouldn’t believe how excited I got when I got to see the Talking Dead and know they were alive and being interviewed!!! I needed that closure!!!! Haha!!!
