My Jcpennys opens at 10am, is every store opening at 8am or does it depend on the store?
It depends on the store. My store is opening at 9:00

Is this bc of the issue with the last weekends ones? Do this weeks ones work? I haven’t tried or heard back from customer service
It’s probably because the last event was so popular. I had 2 different sets of cards (1 for $10, 1 for $20) and they both worked fine.

Mine opens at 10am. My brother got the $10 off $10 coupon from last week and he can’t use it because there are too many restriction. In fact, JCP give out the coupon because they wanted to get rid of the overstock item, aka all the ugly clothes on clearance. Those clothes are just super ugly.
My husband and I got 4 10/10 coupons, 1 each Friday and Saturday, and we had no trouble using them all. We picked up 4 Christmas gifts.
I’m sorry- but to complain about a FREE $10?!? Yes, there are restrictions they are the same as their coupons but there is PLENTY to use it on- should be grateful for it or give it to someone who needs it 😞
Wow, there is plenty of stuff (no ugly clearance clothes) you can use the coupon for. In fact, I had a very hard time deciding today what to use my $10 on because of the so many choices… I got Carter’s Christmas pj’s for my daughter for $1.99 plus tax. Not complaining at all…
The only real restrictions are the licensed items. I bought mens pjs, a pair of earrings, 2 pair of the fuzzy socks and a Carters outfit for my daughter (not clearance lol) and none of it was not valid for the coupon. All together I spent less than $4 out of pocket using 2 different coupons (1 $10, 1 $20).. Like someone else said it’s free money!
Lol Charlin you know you don’t need to use it on clearance items…Unless you are looking specifically to get something for free! I bought tops last week that weren’t on clearance but that $10 allowed me to buy something that I usually wouldn’t spend so much $$ on.
I used our coupons on jeans for my teen that were originally $50 on a buy one get one for a penny sale – worked just fine. Nothing on clearance!
Great I will have to go solo for this one. Don’t think I can drag my husband and the boys in for another giveaway.

I didn’t realize there were problems last weekend. Ours worked fine. What happened?
They stopped accepting their own coupons on Sunday bc someone hacked the system and stole coupon codes is what I heard. Couldn’t use mine or hubbys 🙁
Yup. Me too. Someone found they could reuse codes and they had to disable all the coupons. Still haven’t heard back from customer service.

We had 4 10/10 coupons we used today. We had no problems. I thought I read it was the 100.00 coupons that had the problems.

I think it’s using them online that doesn’t work.
I saw someone on the Hip2Save site last Saturday asking anyone who got and used the $100 off to post their barcode or something like that. I was wondering why someone would want a used barcode, now we know why. They were trying to be dishonest. Too bad people are like that.
Oh maybe that’s why my online order was cancelled. I called customer service and they were able to replace the order thankfully.
I went on Sunday to use a $100 coupon and I did call them ahead of time and the manager said they may have to put it in manually, but when I got there, it scanned just fine.
Mine worked fine last weekend. I used them on carter’s baby clothes. Sets for $1.99 AC and sleepers for 99 cents AC. They also gave me 2 more $10 off $10 which are dated for this week. So awesome!

I had to wait in line for an hour to pay for my purchase because so many people went in and out the doors and got 6 or more coupons and then did multiple transactions when they checked out. Very frustrating.

At my JCP they will only allow 2 transactions at the register at one time. Solves the above issue.
We grabbed some much needed towels. I will go and get more to donate.

I wish stores did more of these promotions on weekdays. I hate going in on weekends with all the people. $10 isn’t worth the headache I get having to be around idiots.

The RESTRICTIONS are very few compared to everything u can buy, no Nike, fine jewelry, best value items. They have plush throws reg. $25 on sale. $11.99, beach towels reg $16 for. $4…99, the puff coats reg $100 for $25, nice pull overs reg. $22 now $9. Bling bling jeans reg $50 $24.99 after q $15, nice work out stuff already 40 off and can use. $10 off 25 All clearance clothing bogo 1/2 and can use q my store allows 3 transactions. One a Penneys amazing other one not as much but still some great finds, some tanks down from $16 to. $1.99 and bogo 1/2 and used $10/25. I got $160 worth of blinged out gorgeous heels for $19…99 and tax… I’d say RUN
Hey! I know someone earlier on here said the stores stopped accepting them, is that true? I have a $10 off for this weekend but that would be a bummer if they don’t take it. 🙁 It was the first time our store didn’t run out within 5 minutes ( I live in Jersey so they always have a line and go very quick)

For those complaining about ugly clothes, etc. it’s a $10 coupon. Maybe buy something to donate to the needy. Socks, underwear, a blanket. Just a thought ❤️
I was really surprised to hear people complaining about ugly clothes when I read this and then I scrolled up…You are right Jenn! I usually always use mine to buy a gift for someone in need.

Anyone not using their coupon can mail it to me…I’ll even pay for the stamp…lol Animal shelters around me are always looking for blankets or towels. You can ask any homeless shelter and they will tell you that socks and underwear are always on the urgent list of things that are needed. Be grateful that a store is willing to give you $10 to shop there. Give your neighbor a helping hand.
That is what I am doing. My daughters drama class has adopted a foster child for Christmas. Last year I was able to buy a lot of items using these type of promotions. I also used the free points from the Sears Sweeps promotions.

Just left JC Penny and cashier indicated that her manager said corporate told them Saturday is going to be the last one of these promotions because of abuse. Sad that a few ruins for everyone

Well, I just tried to use a $10 off $10 coupon that was suppose to be good thru the 29th (Sat) only to be told they are no longer accepting these coupons due to frauglent activity . How can this happen, store printed up coupons for last weekend valid and another coupon valid 24th thru the 29th. How am I suppose to use these coupons. I have 2 left.

Hi. How can I get coupon at store?
My store ran out super early this morning. I thought they weren’t opening until 10 but they opened at 8. By the time I got there, they were all gone. 🙁 I still had one left over from last week that I was able to use, so it was still worth the trip. I hope they don’t get rid of the coupons just because of some greedy folks out there. Hopefully they’re able to find a way to prevent fraud in the future. It’s too bad selfish people have to ruin things for everyone else.
