Santa brought this nearly 4 years ago. It is used daily and you would never know. I am amazed how well it has held up. It did take a couple hours for Santa’s elves to put it together, but it was definitely worth it. If you are on the fence, grab it!

      I completely agree!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that Cyndee! Thanks for the great feedback!

Couldnt you use the 20% toy coupon to get the same price at target plus the red card discount?

    • Princess

It comes out to $88.93 at Target using 20% (KIDSGIFTS) and Target Red Card before tax.

      • Jess

Don’t forget the 10% wish list coupon as well

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Yes you sure can! Thanks for catching! I just updated the post.

We had the opposite, my kids barely touched it and the door came off, it’s just cheap particle board. And it was only a few months old and kidkraft did nothing for me. The website said call the number and the customer service said check the website :/ I would have been willing to buy a new door but ended up donating it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear that! Thanks for sharing your experience Le!

I have nothing but positive things to say about KidKraft kitchens! Ours is played with daily (and definitely shows some wear/use) and was worth every penny, especially because it is in our living room, where we really didn’t want any large, gaudy, plastic pieces. It is indeed particle board, but it is sturdy/heavy. Most other “wooden” kitchens are also particle board, so I wouldn’t let that dissuade me.

If you want it for this Christmas. Pretty solid deal. If you’re able to wait Target does multiple big toy sales throughout the year and I bought this one to save for this Christmas for $58.

Thanks for posting! This was on my Amazon wishlist for my daughter’s upcoming 3rd birthday. Great price!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome Julie!

Kidkraft kitchens are awesome! However, do not try to put this together a couple hours before a birthday party or the night before Christmas unless you enjoy staying up most of the night. The end result is awesome though. Also, they have a pink kidkraft kitchen for $99 at my Sam’s club.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up Jennifer! Good to know! 😉

My son got this for Christmas 3 years ago and it still looks brand new! It is heavy and a pain to put together. But so worth it!! And I love that it looks “realistic” and not highly obnoxious if you want to have it out in a common area in the house.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cute! Thanks for sharing Becky!

We got this for our son last year. It has held up really well and both our son (3 years) and daughter (10 months) play with it daily. You seriously can’t see any wear or tear on it, and my kids are rough! But get help for putting it together. It took my husband and his friend 3 hours.

Thanks for the reviews everyone! Picked this up for Christmas and glad to know how it will hold up.
