Calling all you fellow Starbucks fanatics! Starting today, November 6th and while supplies last, purchase a Starbucks Brewed Coffee & Tea Refill Tumbler for $40 shipped. This 16 fl oz stainless steel tumbler is vacuum-sealed and features a slide lid and silicone pad on bottom.
I know this sounds pricey for a tumbler but…
You can then bring the tumbler into a participating Starbucks store in January 2017 and you will receive one free grande (16 fl oz) brewed hot coffee or brewed hot tea everyday throughout the month of January – limit one per day.
This deal may not make sense for everyone but for those of you who hit up Starbucks regularly, this may be worth it. This would also make a great gift for the Starbucks lover in your life!

Is a latte considered “brewed coffee?”
Nope. My friend had this last year and it’s the coffee they brew or the Tazo tea bags.
A couple of years ago they had this offer for latte drinks. The cup was more expensive and a different style but the premise was the same (free refills in January). I didn’t see it last year and I don’t see it on line – yet. Fingers crossed they bring it back.
They did in fact do this last year, the tumbler was all black.
$40 is a bit much for me – I’ll take my chances on a clearance sale
I love starbucks but not for $40 for some drip coffee. I need some sugary syrups to shell out my money lol.
Does it work in drive thru?
Yes they do. I had it last year. You can just tell them you have the cup when you order and they will just fill it up for you are at window.
My local GM has confirmed that is now a system wide policy to ship back the unsold January tumblers. They can’t be put on clearance.

They can’t
They don’t at all. My husband had this last year and our local Starbucks actually encouraged him to use it multiple times per day.
Soon Starbucks has a sale $25 off $60, you have to buy 2 but it always works on these.

Yes they did last year
I bought one and used it today. I asked before I bought it if i could use it for iced coffee and they said YES…they typed in the barista code to see if iced coffee would work and it came off the total. I went to use it today and they said NO to iced coffee. I told them I was told it was OK because the CODE took off the total when they keyed in iced coffee. They let it go this time…BUT I’m not sure they will give it to me without a fuss. I have a feeling it will be a battle every time. I’ll just smile and say that I asked before I bought and the assured me it was OK for my iced coffee drink. 30 more days of this….wish me luck. 😉
Does this include a syrup flavoring and cream?
Syrup is a for sure NO…cream is included.

Is anyone else having trouble finding the 2017 Tumbler in Target Starbucks…I’ve been to 5 Targets and they don’t have it…I think this year the tumbler is ONLY available online or at Starbucks B&M’s…anybody else having this experience…please do tell…it might help those who are waiting for it to go on clearance at Target to go ahead and pull the trigger at Starbucks B&M instead before they sell out…Thanks in Advance !!!
I just bought one at my local Target using 10% off with Cartwheel. You just have to call around. My store had 3.
