    I ordered one from this company last time it was posted, I was hesitant from the reviews but it arrived in a reasonable time and was just as described.

    I second the above. I checked into the company and they have thousands of negative reviews of products never arriving, double charges made with refusual to fix it, dirty, used and smelly items. Some people have been waiting 3-12 months for items and customer service won’t contact back. I read some of the feedback that sammydress gave to customers and it is unacceptable. One rep told the customer to take it to the bank and have them take care of it. That clearly would not work as it was not a mistake on the banks end. Another rep told a customer that still after a year of not getting their products that the customer needs to understand that whether and holidays sometimes make it late for the product to arrive. That is ludicrous, I understand items being delayed a few days or week but not an entire year. Also claims of wrong sizes being sent and poor customer service. Buyer beware. It really worries me when you start endorsing companies like this.

    One other thing and I am done, on their page it states even if you use PayPal they still want your credit card information. They claim this is vetter to protect your identity. Some say they even try and get a photo Copy of your ID. The only reason why I am so against this is because I recently purchased a dress on a similar based site. It took 2 months to come in and my credit card information was stolen around the same time.

    I ordered this the last time it was posted on Hip2Save. I didn’t have any problems with my order. I received the blanket within 2 weeks. The quality definitely isn’t the best but it’s soft and cute and I know my daughter will love it.

    I bought one last time for my little daughter, she likes it very much. when my elder daughter saw it she also ask for one, but the deal was not work any more, so I bought another one from Sammydress with much expensive price, also talked with the customer service that we need a thicker one because the winter is coming, and they recommend me the one for winter just as this deal, when we receive it, its a big surprise, it looks very good and soft, much better than last one. A little regret bought it too hurry, but can take one for myself now, so happy~

    I had added a blanket for my toddler daughter in my cart & entered my PayPal info, then I decided to read the H2S reviews. I didn’t go through with my order after reading all these reviews–clicked the back button & then closed the window. I went to check my email & I already have an email from Sammy Dress welcoming me to their site. They gave me an account password to log into my account. WOW!!! OMG. Talk about phishing sites.

    I’ve ordered clothes from here before. Never again. Terrible quality, sizing is way off and they are awful about returns/refunds (only wanting to give a percentage back and/or expecting you to ship back to China on your dime when they send the wrong thing/size) and they take forever.

    If you goggle “SammyDress”, the first result you get, after all of the ads and the link for the site itself, is one of an investigative news report on the company. (https://wjla.com/features/7-on-your-side/7-on-your-side-investigates-an-online-womens-clothing-retailer) Legitimate businesses with satisfied costumers don’t get news stories done on them by investigative journalists. In addition, as someone mentioned above, their BBB rating is an F and there are many other sites where people have filed complaints and/or referred to them as a scam. Maybe Collin got lucky with her complaint being handled so well but I’m guessing, seeing as a SammyDress rep is on here replying to messages, that they know if they want her to endorse their business, they’d better not only make things right, they’d best do it in a spectacular fashion, as they seem to have done for her. But find me one other customer with the same experience. A customer who doesn’t speak broken English, that is (i.e. A SammyDress employee, whose second language is English, writing as a satisfied customer). They’re savvy enough to know that if they want their site endorsed, they treat the bloggers they wish to endorse them very well so that they can honestly say that they had a great experience with the company and their readership has no reason to doubt them. But Hip2Save has enough savvy readers to know better. Just goggle the company and do a little bit of research before you decide whether making a purchase from them is worth risking losing your money. I know I can’t afford to lose money; that’s why I follow couponing sites in the first place. Be an informed consumer.

    I am so bummed out! I didn’t read the comments before placing my order. I just ordered this morning. I will say that I didn’t enter any credit card info in at all. I just used my PayPal account and wasn’t prompted to enter anything else. If I can’t use PayPal, I never order. I ordered one for a Christmas present and now I’m really concerned I won’t even receive it in time or that it will be really thin. Fingers crossed!     Personally I will not order from ANY of the China knock off sites. The reason they sell items for so cheap is they steal the photos from other sites, and make them look like it’s their own. The workers are worked to the bone in horrid conditions and paid next to nothing (also it’s not like someone in those conditions is really going to care if there are flaws or the material is junk and some soft materials have come bk positive for Asbestos, and lead along with other scary things). Most of them employ young children and do not give breaks.

    I know it costs alot more to get one from Etsy or another American seller, but most of the Etsy ads are from moms like us trying to make a buck off of something they are good at doing (not all by any means, but a fair amount). I don’t always have the money to buy from them, but if your able to buy that way I would!! I’m pretty disappointed that Colin posted this.

      Kate is right. There are people/scammers out there that steal product photos and claim them as their own. We sell a product on Amazon (I wonā€™t use Collinā€™s site to promote myself) and a scam company took the photo of our product, sold it cheaper and we received horrible comments. We decided to buy the product from said company using our photo and received a completely different product, nothing that looked like the photo at all or even comparable. The reason Iā€™m saying this is to raise awareness that just because itā€™s a good deal does not mean it is legit. Collin provides us with the tool to find amazing deals, and for the most part we couldnā€™t find these deals without her. Perhaps from time to time a misleading post happens but lets not all rip into Collinā€™s site and blame her for trying to lead us astray. We all know this is not true. Just do your research as many have suggested. If your not familiar with a site that leads you to an amazing deal, perhaps you should not purchase. Like I said, we sell a product on Amazon and the picture was used by a fake company and sent out a misleading product. We ended up getting alot of heat from people as they did not understand it was not our ad. Just do the research and be grateful for the awesome deals Collin sends our way. Love moreā€¦..hate less.

    Oh my goodness! Yes, Colin, it’s your fault that everyone received their item damaged or with a late delay. It’s her fault people have posted fake reviews, that this company is on the BBB website. Seriously!? If you are so unhappy, do your own research and find your own deals. She posted a note about her own personal experience. She didn’t make anyone buy the item. You all did it on your own. And the “oh I didn’t read the comments before I bought”? I mean, come on.     My daughter asked for one of these from Justice ($30) so I was about to order this one.. The fact that they want your credit card info even though you’re using PayPal is enough to steer me away – that defeats the entire purpose of using PayPal!! I’d rather pay $30 for the blanket than risk my info getting stolen. JMO.

      Just wanted to give an update, I ordered 5 of these on Nov. 11th when Collin posted and just got an email from both the company and UPS that my order has shipped and is on its way. Also wanted to add that I used PayPal to pay and had no problems or weirdness with them wanting more info. I’ll of course update when I get the blankets. Honestly, unless you personally ordered from this company and had a bad experience I think it’s a bit off base to say how horrible they are. All reviews, good or bad, should be taken with a grain of salt, they’re just opinions that are usually reflecting one side of an issue. By all means, do your homework and follow your gut if you should trust a company or not but it’s really not right to slam a company if you’ve never actually dealt with that company. Now if you did order and didn’t get what you paid for and/or had horrible customer service then for sure warn others so then they can decide for themselves if they should steer clear or get a deal.

        Well, I’m a first time customer, but to me, 6 days processing without update is no way to run a company. My inquiry came back with a hilarious reply – “we make all ordered, check your postal inbox” – say what?
        To those wondering, Sammydress resolves to a Chinese company – nothing here in North America. Nothing wrong with this (I order from Banggood and others all the time with outstanding response), but 6 days and lacking customer support……

      Hey guys just wanted to update you that I got 2 of my blankets today (Hot Pink & Purple) and they’re great! The colors are right on and the thickness is just right for SoCal winters, not too thick and not too thin. I ordered the adult sizes for the kiddos just in case the smaller ones were too small and glad I did, although long I like that there’s extra cuddle room for the girls to grow into. I have another coming tomorrow, one that was just shipped awaiting UPS pickup and one that’s still awaiting fulfillment. For $8 these blankets were a steal, will let you all know when my last 3 get here but so far I’m a very happy camper šŸ™‚

        You may be the only one to get much. Try dealing with their rotten customer service – no reply for days, then broken english to say it will be two months processing. No winner here. You (jensgotthis) seem to be the only happy customer.

    I am so aggravated I fell for this! HIP2SAVE has always been my go to for deals…please don’t post items that are not legit. OR lie about the cost…I checked my email I received on the 18th and when clicking on the tracking number it still states unable to locate. Another thing..they charged me 20.14…when my original total was around $13 after the 1.99 tracking fee and some other charge. I WANT A REFUND!!!!!

      I doubled checked with Paypal and only 12.05 came out…not sure why the invoice is incorrect. Still waiting on tracking to show up and get the product so hopefully this works out.

        When they sent me my tracking numbers the invoices always showed the original price of the blankets ($20.14) without the discount. Each tracking number I was given took about 5-7 days to hit the system, then took about two days to be delivered. I ordered 5 blankets, received 4 and just waiting on the last one. Sounds like you should have yours soon šŸ™‚

    I ordered one on November 12th, I didn’t get an email that it shipped until 11/22. The tracking info they gave me just goes to dead links. I guess it was silly to think November 12th was soon enough to expect it for Christmas. Now I’m starting to wonder if it will ever come. Bummer.

    I placed an order for two mermaid tail blankets on November 11th, and only received one. Was hoping that they were just shipped separately and the 2nd one would show up, but it never did. Very frustrating as I can’t just give one girl one and not have one for the other. And by all the other comments here regarding their horrible customer service I doubt I will even get my money back for the one I never received. Lesson learned, can’t trust everything on Hip2Save and never ordering from this company again.

        Received an email with tracking only stating it arrived in the US on Dec 5th. No tracking after that and still has not arrived. Very upsetting I was not able to use as a Christmas present

Before this I had sent you the tracking code, tracking link also CI for get the package from the customs.     We also placed a order for 2 mermaid tails because of the deal on hip2save and have yet to receive either of them. We have been in communication with Sammy Dress for over a month and keep being told that we have to wait untill the 2 months has passed. The 2 months is up and no tails for my girls and now they want us to pay more to have them resent. This company is a scam and I am very mad and will be going to the media about this company.

    I ordered a mermaid blanket for my daughter for Christmas. Still have not received my order and it’s March! I emailed the company and never got a reply. I would be very hesitate to post any deals from this company again. It is a total scam!!
