Is the Xbox One S better than the Xbox One? Thanks!

Yes. I believe it can also do 4K playback for games and movies. My husband has the Xbox One but I’m betting him the Xbox One S for Christmas since it’s an upgrade.

My husband really wants the xbox one s (we are upgrading from an xbox 360), but from what I read, one of the differences between the xbox one and xbox one s is that you lose the ability to connect to xbox kinect. Any xbox gurus please correct me if I am wrong, but this is a big deal for me as the kinect has brought hours of family fun and entertainment to my kids and at family get togethers. I will be so bummed if this is actually the case. It seems like xbox (which has always been both a family and gamer friendly console) is starting to lean more to the Playstation side of gaming and less on the family friendly with these new upgrades.
