I think its a red flag when Eddie Bauer apologizes for the zipper on the detail page the the down parka.
I ordered the coat the last time she posted it. The zipper isn’t any trickier than any other jacket. It is a nice light weight jacket. I ordered tall for a little more and am very happy with the length for both the arms and torso.

I’m thinking about ordering it in tall, could you measure the total length and the length of the arms? The website doesn’t list any measurements for tall, just states that it is a longer cut. Thanks!

Well I figured I have nothing to lose, since this is the ideal coat I’ve been wanting but not wanting to spend $100’s. If the zipper is junk and doesn’t work -back it goes. I’ve had other double zipper coats before and I know there’s always a trick to it so hopefully it won’t be a problem! 😬
