Same :-/
Same here.
Alexandria,
I was able to load the offer to my Cartwheel account. Sign into your Cartwheel account first, then click on Collin’s link above. 🙂
Anyone in california able to add?
Yep. Just did
Hmm, I am still finding it available. Maybe click through the link above and be sure that you are logged in to your account. Hope this helps!
When I clicked the first link there was no button to add. But when I clicked the second link listed I was able to do it. I was already logged on to cartwheel. Hope that helps.
ME TOO
Does anyone know how much they are this week?
Amber,
The Target app tells me that the Butterball frozen turkeys are $0.99 per pound. The fresh Butterball turkeys are $1.79 per pound. The Butterball fresh hen turkeys (I never knew this existed lol) are $1.99 per pound.
I am pretty confused – what qualifies a FRESH turkey – but – the BUtterballs are $.99lb and the market panrty are $.79 lb – which is a really good price by itself. At my store they were all frozen -but they wernt IN the freezer section, they were refrigerated, so I would assume they qualify for the CW – you would have to match the dcpi numbners from the CW to the shelf tag to be sure. That being said I JUST BOUGHT A TURKEY YESTERDAY! ARGH!
I don’t see a dcpi number listed on the cartwheel 🙁
The dcpi I found it 226-05-6218 – and no Targets around me carry it 🙁
I got a 9.00 lb Turkey and it was priced at $16.11 (1.79/lb.).
Thank you all.
I know this isn’t the right post, but anyone know what time the toy sale starts tomorrow? I chatted with Target and they couldn’t tell me. Anyone remember from last year? I don’t want to stay up all night if it won’t start til later in the morning!
There are no fresh turkeys at the super target I am at right now. Only frozen. In phx
Anyone else worried about getting a fresh turkey to early? How long do they keep in the refrigerator? I think it’s only 2-3 days.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
What is the sell by date?
I agree! If you want a fresh turkey go to Aldi a day or two before and they are 99 cents a pound there anyway.
I just went and purchased one and the sell by date was 12/3 I also asked the guy stocking them and he said it is ok to freeze them. He also said they are doing this deal on Sunday too.
I just called my Target. They do not carry the fresh turkeys only frozen. She said only Super Targets carry them fresh. Bummer
No longer available
So odd as it is still available for me. Are you on a mobile device? If so, try clicking through on a desktop if possible and logging in to your account to grab it. Hope this helps!
I just spoke to a market mng and she said that a memo came down from corporate today saying that corporate rcvd a large over quantity of fresh turkeys and they would be going out to all stores later today.
I’ve been worried about getting a frozen turkey too early! As I have not enough room to store it in the freezer and plan to thaw it in the refrigerator. I’m scared to wait too long (I have a perk I’ve earned through Target for a free turkey) and the store not have any available, plus I know the closer it gets to Thanksgiving the crazier the store will be. As if impending Christmas isn’t enough to worry about! lol
How did you earn the perk of a free turkey?
There is a perks program that’s being tested in certain areas. You get to choose an item from the list of perks once you reach 5000 points ($500 before coupons). We have it in St. Louis and it’s awesome, hopefully it rolls out everywhere soon! I got my husband a free pair of $30 jeans!
I was able to check the Target site so see if they had fresh turkeys in stock at my local store. It’s such a great deal with the $10 off $50 going too, that I’m gonna grab one even if I just have to freeze it and use for Christmas.
Where do you get/find $10off$50 coupon?
It’s a mobile coupon. Text GROCERY to 827438 🙂
Was able to add cartwheel and pick one up at my locals target! I called to make sure they had fresh turkeys before I went up there! You have to search for the coupon on a desktop. Type in turkey or go to the food category
Thanks for the helpful feedback Brittani!
Thanks for this tip!
Finally was able to add it then it just disappeared like the other meat cartwheels do.
I just re-added it to my cartwheel and then printed a hard copy to take with me to the store.
Of course!! Because I bought the darn thing last night!!!
I bought mine on Tuesday…oh well!
Sign in to Cartwheel first and then click Collins link, It just worked for me. Now I hope my Target carries them, but I’ll be prepared if they do.
Just went to two targets and finally got two. They are frozen but they say fresh on the package. My target said they only got 20 of these turkeys so act fast
I just went to target and this is a bogus coupon it is not a real coupon.
How strange. I am still seeing that the offer is valid. Were you able to try and redeem it in store?
It’s a real coupon — I used it this afternoon. 🙂 I didn’t try using the link, I just opened up my cartwheel app and searched for the deal to add and had no problems.
The dcpi on the cartwheel are 226-05-0013 226-05-6218 226-05-8210 and 226-05-8216.
When I searched for turkey on my mobile it was at the bottom of the page, still available.
Also, I don’t have a Super Target near me and it says that my Target DOES has them on Brickseeker.com. It’s a PFresh Target I think. We have a lot of groceries but not as much as a Super Target. Just FYI. And they show it’s $1.99 a pound full price so 99 cents a pound with the cartwheel which is a fairly normal price for turkey this time of year.
Thank you so much for this post. I was able to purchase two and also use the $10.00 off $50.00 worth of groceries. So two turkeys and 8 dollars worth of other stuff for $22.00! That is amazing! We are doing two Thanksgivings at our home so super helpful savings!
Wow, I was wondering if the $50 threshold was before or after the Cartwheel discount. Sounds like before?!!
SO cool to hear you could grab all the savings Sandy! You’re very welcome!
I went to my target, which is NOT a super target and they had the Market brand fresh turkeys on sale for 99 cents a pound so after the 50% off, I got a 22lb fresh turkey for $9.90 total! Also, I looked up the stock on target.com and mine showed that they didn’t have any, so it is still worth going to check because my store had around 15 in an end-cap cooler. Lexington, KY.
This coupon must be regional, and perhaps limited to Super Target stores? I’ve never seen a fresh turkey at any of the local Targets. Frozen only here.
I’m in California and there’s no such cartwheel offer here, so I suspect it’s regional. Too bad, as I’d be happy to have one at 50% off.
I’m also in CA and I just pulled up my cartwheel app and sorted by discount. This was right near the top since it’s one of the largest discount amounts.
Thanks, Valerie H. for the DCPI numbers. They confirm that there’s no turkeys available within 50 miles of here.
Is there anyway to add the coupon on a cellphone?
Target in Cedar Rapids, Ia had these on special for $.89 a pound. These were in with the frozen turkeys as they were frozen though they say” fresh” on the package. The meat guy was explaining how they are similar to flash frozen and different from the other frozen turkeys allowing them to be labeled as “fresh”. I paid only $.44 a pound for one. If I had the freezer space I would have bought another.
This coupon worked and I paired it with the $10 off $50, was able to get all my Thanksgiving groceries and then some for $20. This was major since it’s my first thanksgiving alone with just my 3 small kids while going thorough an awful divorce and still waiting on child support, times are tough and every penny counts. You are a blessing Hip2Save crew!!!
So glad to hear you could grab this offer! You’re very welcome!
