We bought an Epson projector as a family Christmas present last year and it has been the best thing ever. We hook up a dvd player and have family movie nights (& movie nights with friends) outside when the weather is good and on the living room wall when it’s not.

We have a projector and we display it on a wall that we painted white and it is amazing. We put trim up to out line the area we wanted to use as a screen and hung dark red velvety curtains to make it look more like a theater. Just remember to turn your projector off to save the time on your bulbs because they can be pricey to replace. We have had ours for five years and replaced the bulb twice which was around $80 for both so really not bad if you break the cost down.
